Meet the
Designer
Brazilian born top model and actress, Gabriela Dias, has added fashion designer to her long list of talents an addition that many anticipated! From red carpet to runway, Gabriela is no stranger to style. Paving her way in the modeling and acting world has come hand-in-hand with countless hours in fittings for high fashion productions and shoots, and on movie, music video, and commercial sets working amongst stylists and other industry elite. It is with this vast experience, and her inherently exceptional taste that she found her footing in the fashion world. Highly regarded for her shapely Brazilian silhouette and her distinctive look, Dias has been the body behind countless swimwear collections. She has had the opportunity to see the industry inside and out, and experience it in ways that most only dream of; from shooting on sandy beaches around the world, to getting a first-look at all the finest garments, styles and trends. Still, Dias was struggling to find swimwear she was satisfied with. Equipped with experience and fueled by persistence Dias decided to stake her claim on the world of swimwear, and soon there after, G. Dias was born. Although Gabriela Dias currently calls Hollywood her home, it was on the beaches of St. Tropez that Dias began to create and define the range of pieces currently seen in her G. Dias line. Constantly inspired by her travels, Dias plans to incorporate the beauty absorbed on her excursions into this and all future collections. Not only through color, trend, and design but also by aligning the G. Dias label with charitable causes working to preserve the very cities and cultures from which she draws her creativity. G. Dias currently supports efforts to raise Breast Cancer awareness, partners with Stand Up To Cancer and donates proceeds to aid in the ongoing fight to cure HIV. Although Dias has plans to expand her product offerings under the G. Dias label, her introduction with swimwear, crochet, and accessories was a well-calculated one, and has proven a suitable initiation to the world of fashion design - a world that has taken a steadfast liking to her keen eye for style and her contagious personality!
