Green Corner just like all the other commercial facilities of Skanska will be developed in compliance with environmentally responsible technologies, and will undergo sustainability certification procedures: LEED® and GreenBuilding. LEED stands for the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. It is internationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. LEED certifications help lowering operating costs, improve indoor environmental performance and lower the building environmental impacts. The rating system addresses such areas as rational use of materials and resources, location, indoor environmental quality, waste efficiency, and waste minimization. Green Corner is registered under the LEED Green Building Rating System seeking Platinum Certification. What is more, our projects will fulfil the requirements of GreenBuilding certificate, which is awarded to commercial developments that incorporate planned energy use 25% lower than national standards.

Space full of inspiration Green Corner location at the crossroads of Chłodna and Wronia streets is the heart of Wola neighbourhood. Our modern office space together with its surroundings will create a business friendly urban area. A central location and easy access to public transport along with Athe planned underground station nearby constitute a major convenience for future employees commuting from various parts of Warsaw. Past and present Before the war Chłodna was the street full of life. Cafes, cake shops, cinemas were located along the street where people used to stroll along or travel by an electric tramway. In 1818 at the intersection of Chłodna and Elektoralna a marketplace known as Plac pod Lwem was brought to life. In the following years ??? 5 the street was witnessing an emerge of ???? 6 the architectural pearls such as Under the ???? 7 Clock House (Kamienica pod Zegarem) ??? or St Carolus ????? Borromeus8 Church (Kościół św. Boromeusza). During the war many buildings were destroyed and in 1940 the street was included in the Jewish Ghetto.

The current objective is to restore the street of Chłodna and re-establish the representative character of this part of Warsaw. The houses and historic monuments along with the pedestrians walkways will be renovated, and the stylish 1920s street lamps, benches and garden cafes will bring warm nostalgic atmosphere to the area. There will be more greenery in the area and more parking spaces will be built along the street line. Chłodna is to become the showcase of Warsaw with the aura and vividness of Krakowskie Przedmieście.

Green Corner office building is located two planned underground stations away from the Świętokrzyska station. It is the transfer point for the two lines of the underground.
