An Urban Plaza, which caters a lot of activities within, in order to activate the neighborhood.
A Public Space designed for all, considering not only the present South Geelong but also a suburb which we expect it to be in the next 20-30 years.
The project was based on the concept of Transit Oriented Development and the intervention was done in the South Geelong Precinct. The prime objective of the project was to control the peripherisation of the Greater Geelong and to activate the suburb to make it more livable with the help of Sustainable Development. Overall the project was based on Urban Design principles, with the final outcome of Landscape Architecture, which was carried out in stages. I believe Urban Design and Landscape Architecture goes hand in hand.
