” CEMETERY FOUND IN POLAND Archaeologists unveil the mystery of a “Vampire Cemetery” in Poland. When archaeologist opened an ancient grave at a highway construction site near Gliwice, Poland they come across a scene from a horror movie: a suspected vampire burial. 17 skeletons were found buried with skulls cut and placed between the knees or hands. Archaeologists say, this is a type of burial used to stop vampire’s resurrection. Anyone accused of being a vampire person was facing a terrible destination, they were sometimes beheaded, but the most common was that they were hanged. This “Vampire Cemetery” is the largest ever found with burials of this type, the historians say that this practice was more common in the Slavic lands for Christianity by the heathen tribes, in the XVI century.

The belief in vampires flourished mainly in the countries of Eastern Europe and Greece, where they had the tradition of believing in witches, as well as in England, Germany and the United States, the vampire became ill community.
