Our new material is called Tyvek®, an extremely durable material that visually resembles vintage kraft paper or weathered leather.

It brings back nostalgic feelings of getting a special package, just for you. Reminiscent of homemade packaged lunch or a special postal delivery.

La nueva gama de bolsos de Skunkfunk presenta unas piezas innovadoras perfectas para dar un aire veraniego a nuestro look.

Este nuevo material se llama Tyvek®, un elemento duradero que se asemeja al papel antiguo o a la piel envejecida.

Esto nos recuerda con nostalgia la sensación de recibir un paquete regalo especial, las bolss para llevar nuestra comida o una carta por correo.

Ty ve k ® Flashspun polyethylene fibers. Discovered in 1955. A synthetic material; the name is a registered trademark of DuPont.

Tyvek® is made from very fine, polyethylene fibers that are spun at high speed to interlock in random patterns, resulting in the super durable, waterproof, lightweight, and breathable fabric we have come to love.

Up until now, Tyveck®´s distinct properties have been primarily used for industrial purposes and construction.

Tyvek® is 100% recyclable as type 2 plastic and we encourage you to reimagine the way you consume, re -use, and recycle with this product line.

Ty ve k ® Son fibras de polietileno, descubiertas en 1955, es un material sintético y marca registrada en DuPont.

Tyvek® está compuesto de fibras de polietileno muy finas que son hiladas a gran velocidad para entremezclarse de forma aleatoria. Eso crea un tejido duradero, impermeable, ligero y transpirable a la vez.

Hasta ahora, Tyvek® se ha utilizado generalmente en la construcción y con fines industriales.

Tyvek® es 100% reciclable, como un plástico tipo 2, pudiéndose reinventar la manera de consumir, reutilizar y reciclar con esta línea de productos.
