Spinningfields is the biggest commercial district in Manchester and is home to some of the largest corporations in the North West.

The district is foodie heaven, with some of the best restaurants and destination bars including contemporary Chinese restaurant Tattu, quintessentially English The Lawn Club, Spanish favourite Ibérica and The Oast House with its renowned see and be seen beer garden. For culture vultures and building buffs, the People’s History Museum ticks all the boxes in its converted Edwardian pumping station while the John Rylands Library’s jaw-dropping Gothic interior and towering façade never fail to turn heads.

Getting about is easy, Manchester’s famed tram system is the largest in the UK. MediaCityUK has a Metrolink station which connects residents and commuters across Manchester and Salford and there are also plans to build a Metrolink route connecting MediaCityUK to the intu Trafford Centre for completion 2019/2020. The X50 bus connects the neighbourhood to the city centre and the Trafford Centre. Car drivers enjoy good connections to the national motorway network, particularly the trans-Pennine M62 for access to Birmingham, Liverpool and Leeds. And it’s walkable – City Mews is only 8 minutes on foot from the centre. Getting away is easy too – Manchester is wellserved by the rail network and Manchester airport, which is currently undergoing a £1.5BN refurbishment, is a hub for destinations worldwide.
