W E LCO M E TO WAV E L E N G T H G E T O N T H E WAV E L E N G T H There’s an iconic development in the making that fires the imagination and creates a meeting of minds – and you can get on the Wavelength. Introducing DeTrafford’s stunning new scheme embracing striking design, superb accommodation and occupying a unique waterfront setting alongside Media City UK, a world class location for the creative industries. Just 15 minutes from Manchester city centre by Metrolink, Salford Quays is a desirable, expanding and sought-after destination offering heritage, world class entertainment and leisure facilities, great sporting action and appealing bars and restaurants. The BBC’s move to Media City sparked a demand that now sees Salford as one of the UK’s foremost property hotspots. On Salford Quays, a compelling combination of contemporary architecture and a desirable waterfront setting is both appealing and visually stunning. The energy is palpable and Wavelength responds to its pulse. Its eye-catching architecture presents a pleasing curved aspect, punctuated by the defined modular lines inspired by heritage dockland containers, while the stepped rise and fall of the building showcases the private roof terraces. Wavelength comprises a mix of 421 apartments and, as you would expect, the accommodation has a 21st century appeal offering clean, contemporary lines, bright open living spaces and exceptional finishes. It’s a building carefully conceived inside and out to reflect its setting and creative connections.

And the location, design and

accommodation will appeal to investors and homebuyers alike. Wavelength – you too can live in harmony.

SA L FO R D QUAYS INDULGE YOURSELF IN A UNIQUE WAT E R F R O N T LOC AT I O N Salford Quays has seen a stunning transformation from its dockyard heritage to a vibrant waterside community – just a 15 minute tram ride from Manchester city centre. This burgeoning success story was sparked by the advent of Media City UK but the Quays have much to offer in their own right. There’s an award winning theatre, gallery and museum, outlet shopping, stunning architecture, cruises and sport to be enjoyed. The Lowry arts and entertainment complex has a large collection of the artist’s works and also offers an internationally acclaimed programme of drama, opera, ballet and dance. Nearby, the Lowry Outlet boasts over 80 stores, restaurants, cafés, health club and a seven screen cinema. A waterside stroll affords the opportunity for well-earned refreshment at a range of bars and restaurants. For sports lovers, Old Trafford – home of the world famous Manchester United – is easily accessed, along with Lancashire County Cricket Club. When you’re looking to get around, you’re sure to be well connected at Wavelength. Salford Quays Metrolink station is close at hand offering a fast link to the heart of Manchester – while there’s a good bus service and easy access to the North West’s extensive motorway network, with Manchester Airport just a 20 minute drive away.

SA L FO R D QUAYS S A L F O R D Q U AY S M E A N S B U S I N E S S Salford Quays is conveniently located for one of Europe’s largest employment and business hubs – Trafford Park – where over 40,000 people are employed. Salford itself is set to grow significantly in the coming years, with population growth expected to be higher than Greater Manchester, the North West and national averages up to 2025. There are similar strong forecasts for economic growth. According to Halifax, Salford was the biggest property hotspot of 2015, with the number of property sales jumping by 23% compared to the previous year. A major infrastructure boost benefiting the area has recently been announced with the Government giving the green light to a new £350 million Metrolink line, providing a direct link to the Trafford Centre, a popular shopping destination. The route, with six new stops, will run from the existing Pomona station and is part of a £1.5 billion expansion programme that will see the Metrolink network double in size.

The distinctive architectural lines of Wavelength will frame an attractive mix of accommodation and amenity. There’s a range of apartment types to choose from and provision for private roof terraces and innovative ‘winter gardens’ – augmented by public courtyards, convenient pedestrian access and the additional option of car parking. The elegant rise of the building, stepping up to 26 storeys, sensitively responds to its setting and acknowledges the scale of the neighbouring Grade II listed Dock Office. The aspect of the building allows the sun to spill into the courtyards and affords views across the water. Selected apartments also feature a ‘winter garden’. This carefully designed internal space, formed with glass, allows a sense of the outdoors all year round – and, when the weather’s fine, sliding panels enable you to feel the sun on your face.
