The San Francisco real estate market is still strong, but rising mortgage interest rates may make the market less strong in the coming months. The average 30 year fixed mortgage rate climbed to 4.72% this past September, the highest since 2011. There may be some buyer hesitancy throughout the Bay Area with rising interest rates, but the excitement surrounding the new Warriors Stadium coming to Mission Bay is still strong.
