Hello Neighbors! Happy Autumn! We’re near the end of the year, and the San Francisco condo market is the strongest it has been all year. In January, the median price/sq ft in Mission Bay was $1,069/sq ft. In August, it was $1,149/sq ft. That’s a 7.5% increase! It’s incredible what a difference a year makes! While prices are nowhere near pre-covid levels (median price/sq ft was $1,339/sq ft in March 2020), it’s encouraging to see we’re on the right path to recovery. $1300 $1200 $1100 $1000 $900 JAN 2020

San Francisco has one of the highest vaccination rates in the country, and people are getting comfortable living in a high rise with shared spaces again. It’s a real thing that people are making their way back to the city; more traffic and more people are seen in Downtown than ever. With this resurgence, rent prices have rebounded fast. It’s only a matter of time for condo prices to follow. Condo inventory is the lowest it has been all year and price/sq ft is the highest it has been all year. The San Francisco condo market will see further growth happening in the coming months, and it’s exciting to see this rebound. Whether you’re living in your home or renting your property out, the market is changing fast, and this is a good time to reassess your real estate investments.
