EXPERIENCE
SOUPLE Contract Furniture
SOUPLE is a contract modular seating solution which enables the user to choose the elements they require depending on their purpose of seating and desired function. By allowing for quick adaptation, SOUPLE encourages playful and informal use of space, with ambiguous shapes being interpreted by the user for their desired function. SOUPLE is designed for breakout rooms and informal office spaces.

Research and Inspiration
The way people interact with nature has always proved fascinating. Inhibitions fade away with the permission that rocks grant to be manipulated however the user find most comfortable. These unconscious interactions take place when people are allowed the informality of a natural environment, something that SOUPLE incorporates into the informal seating areas in a contract context.
Sketches and models were used to further develop the concept for SOUPLE. Modelling in 3D allowed for more biomorphic design, with sketches helping to better ideate the modularity of SOUPLE.

REFLECT Domestic Furniture
REFLECT is an evening skincare routine unit aimed at encouraging mindful cleansing and peaceful unwinding at the end of the day. Featuring a large mirror with LED back lighting and a smaller hand held mirror with magnified glass, the unit reminds the user to take a minute to practise self-care and selfreflection in a calm bedroom environment, and indulge in their meditative skincare routines.
Sketches and Models
1:10 models, sketches and full scale models were all used to finalise the design of REFLECT. Being able to adapt and alter the full scale model allowed for cheap and quick choices to be made, all of which lead to the ideation of the final design.

NTUDI BRANDING
Branding and Brochure Team
For the NTU Design Industries exhibition in 2021, I was part of the student lead team who developed the branding and brochure for the exhibition. As a team we developed the branding to reflect the community sense of our three courses, with the colours reflecting the positivity and light needed after such a trying year. We also developed the brochures for the three courses, working as a team to achieve a successful and breathtaking exhibition.

THE TWIN TABLE SCP Live Project
The twin table - designed for small scale living - enables tables to be used for their two main purposes: display and functional use. The hierarchy of a shelving unit is mirrored in the levels of the table, allowing your display items such as plant pots or candles to be perched above, in the space otherwise named redundant over the more functional platform below.
Digital Render
Although initially appearing all to be very similar, these models and sketches explore the varying potential for having two table attached to each other. A slight overlap and variety in height is most clearly needed, and the mixture of two different shapes also acts as a visual queue that the two surfaces have different purposes.

Narrative and Ritual Project
My chocolate addicts hunting basket is inspired by my odd obsession with hiding chocolate, safe for me to find later as a welcome surprise. The basket itself is slip cast earthenware shaped to replicate a traditional flower or Easter basket in keeping with my chocolate theme. The silicon base is then formed to allow the chocolate collected to be shaped into keys, creating a use for an overload of chocolate.

TILTED Adjustable lighting project Designed in response to a clients love for the Bauhaus movement, TILTED has two adjustable features. The height of the light itself using the spider type legs, and the angle of the shade. Taking inspiration from classic designs such as Tom Dixon’s ‘Etch’ light, this linear frame creates stark shadows, facilitating to both its ambient and task lighting needs.
