Ying Luck. Same Same or Different
Yingluck Shinawatra
Here we go again. Same Tactics. Same Games. The National Council for Peace and Order approved Ms Yingluck’s request to leave the kingdom on Sunday for a 20-day trip to Europe. It is expected that Yingluck will visit her brother, former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who is scheduled to celebrate his birthday anniversary in Paris on July 26. Ms Yingluck’s overseas trip beginning July 20 to August 10, a source close to Ms Yingluck said that she would leave Thailand on July 23 and return on August 10. She will visit several European countries with her son Supasek Amornchat who will have school holidays then. They will visit Germany, Switzerland and France where they will attend a birthday party of Thaksin Shinawatra. Hours later… Thailand’s National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) on Thursday finds former Thai Prime Minister Yingluck guilty of negligence in rice program and resolved to ask the Attorney-General to arraign former premier Yingluck Shinawatra on charges of dereliction of duty on ricepledging scheme and caused damage of 500 billion baht to the country. The NACC will forward the case to the Attorney-General next week, who will charge Ms Yingluck in Supreme Court’s Criminal Division for Persons Holding Political Position.
Will they move quick and charge her before she leaves and block her from leaving the country or they let her go and have the same fate as Thaksin. The Destruction of Shinawatra continues… Simple Thai Math: Thailand = No Justice = Just Us, Us = “The Elite”.
Thaksin “Wait” Signal. No Rush
Thaksin “Wait” Signal. No Rush.
Corruption Kills
Wanchai Saengkao
A Cleaning guy with criminal record, has a relative in SRT who landed him a dream job. The guy comes to work high on Yaba (2 tablets before he started his shift and one more during his shift). He starts drinking with 3 other employees, while he is scouting for an opportunity. That happened to be 13 years old girl. He raped before. He knows what and how to do it. He turns the light off in the car where the victim was sleeping. He entered her sleeping cabin, knocked her unconscious and sexually assaulted her. When the victim started to regain consciousness. He sexually assaulted her again and decided to throw her body out of the window. He said the victim was still alive when he threw her onto the rail track. He steals her iPhone and sell it in Bangkok. I am sure he needed that money to cover his Yaba expenses. Despite having a criminal record, Wanchai Saengkao, 22, was also arrested on drug charges in Bangkok five years ago. He used his connections to a relative who works for SRT to land a job cleaning trains, where he routinely got drunk and high. Did that relative concealed Wanchai’s criminal records, which included two drug-related prosecutions or there is no hiring process at all for anyone with connections. They just walk in and get the job.
Before murdering the 13-year-old girl on Sunday, Wanchai also confessed to having raped two female railway employees in the past, both of whom he said were too embarrassed to report the crime. NCPO issues an order dismissing Governor of the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) from office today.
Because of corruptions and connections deep roots in Thailand. A cleaning guy walking around doing whatever he likes because “none can touch him”. He has connections. I am not going to discuss Buddhism and death penalty or Thai law for rape 5-20 years. Just send him to jail and let him get the same fate as Prasin Nunkaew, 41, who was arrested and charged with raping his 7 years old stepdaughter on 6 July at a rubber farm in Trang district. He was transferred to Trang Remand Prison to await trial. However, this morning the prison officials discovered that Mr. Prasin had been beaten to death by fellow inmates in his holding cell.
That’s the perfect connections for someone like you “Tough Guy”. Swift Justice.
The Fortune teller and the ancient Himalayan holy man
Air Force commander-in-chief ACM Chalit Pukpasuk, left, in a religious rite performed by fortune-teller Warin Buawiratlert in Chiang Mai Warin Buawiratlert, Thailand’s most influential fortune teller lives in a large and luxurious compound on the outskirts of Chang Mai. He is a man of real power and influence. ‘Aajaan Warin’ has the ear of the most important figure in Thailand, the head of the Thai junta, General Prayuth Chan-ocha. “We’ve known each other for more than ten years so I am quite familiar with him – it’s been a long time,” said Mr Warin. “We mostly talk about the country. I feel it is also my duty to protect (the nation).” Aajaan Warin says he receives visions from an ancient Himalayan holy man called Laung Poo Thao, adding that one of those visions correctly predicted of the coup (that saw General Prayuth remove the Thaksin Shinawatra-aligned government from power). “As he leads the country there may be issues he gets stuck on so he’ll contact me. He has confidence in me. When someone gets stuck and it’s beyond the knowledge of humans, you have to consult the spirit that knows.” Aajaan Warin says the army chief was the trusted lieutenant of King Naresuan the Great of the Ayutthaya era in his previous life. I know now, that’s why the free admission to King Naresuan film.
Before the coup, General Prayuth was seen wearing a ring studded with nine coloured gemstones, which are believed to shore up his luck. After the coup, however, he slipped on to the middle finger of his right hand another ring bearing a garuda, which signifies power and prestige. Will the Himalayan holy man gives a vision to ‘Aajaan Warin’ that General Prayuth will be the next prime minister. We have to wait for the Himalayan to decide Thailand future. Anyway, your prediction of Tsunami for Dec, 2010 was false and irresponsible and that hit Phuket tourism industry hard. It seems that time you consulted a spirit that doesn’t know. I hope next time, you consult a spirit that knows. Keep your spirit up.
Junta marks one month in power. If you wonder.. Where is the prince at during these critical times? Crown Prince Vajiralongkorn spotted in Bavaria, Germany, visiting a garden centre in a Porsche 911, of course performing his Royal duties where he is needed most, Bavaria, Germany. I do like the way they open the car door. I will hire someone to open the car door for me one day like that so I can feel “Royal”. I mean “Thai Royal”..
Prince Vajiralongkorn
Can you just buy a Sandwich and eat it?
Junta Sandwitch
Wake up. You are in Thailand “JuntaLand”. It’s now illegal to eat a sandwich outside of the shop where you bought it. Don’t risk arrest over a Sandwich. Subway will be out of business soon. Anyway, just enjoy the good Thai food. What are you doing eating a Sandwich in Thailand anyway. Eat Papaya Salad :) Don’t get smart with me now and ask if you can eat “ice cream sandwich” !. Go to Junta site and find a list of what you can eat. Be safe than sorry. To the sandwich loyal eaters, just enjoy it in the Military accommodations with enough time to think about changing your eating habits. Time for me to go eat and enjoy my SANDWICH, “General“. If you are one of the 70 people who paid 10,000 baht for Suthep charity dinner, out of luck. Party canceled. Suthep Thaugsuban, leader of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) has called off his charity dinner party to be held Saturday after the military junta banned the party. The event to be held on Saturday night at the Pacific Club in Bangkok is intended to raise funds for PDRC protesters injured in violence during the group’s six-month-long street protests in Bangkok and other provinces. Suthep said at his fund-raiser last weekend that he had been in regular contact with General Prayuth and been advising the Junta chief on how to unseat the Thaksin regime since 2010. [Suthep said he chats regularly to Gen Prayuth and his team via the Line chat app. “Before martial law was declared, Gen Prayuth told me ‘Khun Suthep and your masses of PDRC supporters are too exhausted. It’s now the duty of the army to take over the task’, Suthep said” ] Suthep, How can you do that?. That’s suppose to be a SECRET. You got drunk at the fund-raiser party last weekend and revealed the secret that everyone already knows. Suthep, you can’t mention these secrets and expect that General Prayuth will let you continue your parties. Look what you did, you embarrassed the General so he canceled your Parties and send you home to Surat Thani. Stupid, talk too much. Of course, Gen Prayuth denies having talked or exchanged messages in private with Suthep. We believe you “General”. Whatever you say. Whatever you do. We are so “Happy”.
General Prayuth and Suthep
Stupid…… But Trying! Watch Out for the Bad Guys! Thai police create fake Facebook App to get Thai net users’ info, target users trying to open blocked sites Thai police allegedly created fake applications to access the Thai Internet users’ personal information on Facebook if the users try to access blocked websites, When users try to access a blocked websites, they are sometimes redirected to a landing page called “tcsd.info.” The web page would delude the users to get to a suspicious application on Facebook called “Login.” If users consented to the app, the users’ accounts were compromised. There also appears on the web page the logos of the Information Communication Technology Ministry, the Royal Thai Police, the TCSD and the Central Investigation Bureau. “Sorry for your inconvenience. However, the “Sign in with Facebook” button is still on the page. If users clicked it, they would be sent to a consent page for app called “TCSD,” which requests for same kind of information.
Simply, Outsmart these …………………….., Stay on top of the game :)
The Billionaire Generals.. Made in “Thailand Royal Army” with a Twist “Coup”
Army corruptions is in Billions. Military spending rose sharply after the Sept 19, 2006 coup that overthrew the Thaksin Shinawatra administration. The Defense Ministry’s spending in 2007, during the coup-installed Gen Surayuth Chulanond administration, shot up by 33.8% to more than 115 billion baht, from 85.9 billion in the 2006 fiscal year. In the 2008 fiscal year, defence expenditure rose by 24.7% from the year before to 143 billion baht. Under the Samak Sundaravej and Abhisit Vejjajiva administrations, military budgets rose by 24.7% in 2008 and 18.5% in 2009 respectively. The Thai military is a source of cost overruns and corruption allegations. Who forgets the GT200 bomb detectors that turned out to be an embarrassing scam. They are lumps of plastic with no working mechanical parts. Army commander Anupong Paojinda was the one who approved the purchase for 1.4 million baht each in 2009. Who forgets the 350 million baht purchase of a leaky surveillance which the army has named “Sky Dragon.” that airship is the brainchild of Gen Anupong and his second-
in-command, Gen Prayuth at that time (Now, He is The “Man in Charge”, (not only of the army but the whole country), with no questions asked). General Anupong had reportedly agreed to purchase 3 airships for the army. The problem is that the airship can’t do what it is meant to, and there has even been trouble getting it into the air. The airship has seepage holes and it initially costs 2.8 million baht to inflate and then 280,000 baht a month to top-up. It remains in a hanger, never used. It is a bigger Scam than the GT200. The company involved was founded in mid-2008 and has 12 employees. How on earth did “Royal Thai Army” even know about them?. It seems they are agents for the real manufactures.
Something fishy in these deals, money and corruption rule Thailand Royal Army. Wealthy Generals on Top. Not the poor enlisted soldiers. No wealth sharing. No piece of the pie. It’s the whole pie. Let’s wait and see 2015 Defense Budget… Thailand’s military government raised 2015 defense budget to THB193 billion (USD6 billion), representing a 5% increase over spending in 2014. The funding represents approximately 8% of the total government expenditure during the 2015 fiscal year
Child Slavery, Sex Slaves, Sea Slaves, Army Slaves, Political Slaves
General Prayuth
A new U.N. treaty punishing perpetrators of forced labor passed Wednesday in a meeting of the 185 nations that comprise the International Labor Organization (ILO). While a handful of Gulf states abstained. Thailand’s new military regime voted against the measure to stop modern slavery but after couple of days on Friday, they reversed their decision on the heels of statements of shock and outrage from the international community and the fear that Thailand may be punished for allowing that exploitation. The country has been on human trafficking watch list for the past four years and without major improvements, it would be dropped to the lowest rung, Tier 3, joining the ranks of North Korea, Syria, Iran and Zimbabwe. A downgrade could lead that Thailand loose certain forms of foreign support and exchange programs as well as oppose assistance from international financial institutions such as the World Bank. The involvement of corrupt officials appears to be widespread, from protecting brothels and workplaces to cooperating directly with traffickers.
Army Slaves
After watching that video, just close your eyes for a second. Now, imagine that was your own Son, getting that Thai Royal Army treatment. How will you feel !!! If you go around the suburbs of Bangkok, especially anywhere near an army base, you’ll find this is a common practice. Thai army officer routinely has about 3 or 4 enlisted army soldiers doing his family laundry, ironing clothes, cutting the grass, etc. He has 3 or 4 cars which get washed and vacuumed nearly every day. when his wife comes home from the mall, they take all of her shopping bags out the car then clean and wash the car for her. This is not a temporary detail. They live at the house for many months, of course sleeping on the floor. Power, Control, Intimidation and Abuse. That defines the Thai Royal Army culture.
Sea Slaves
Imagine your own father used to work on one of those ships. Long hours, no place to go for nothing. It’s real life. Real people that their poverty made them an easy target for slavery. It’s Tragic. Who forgets Thai Navy role in spotting boats carrying the Rohingya refugees and putting them in the hands of the smugglers. Thai naval forces are paid about $65 per Rohingya. What a lousy business. I think under the Junta rule now. Thai Royal Navy can make 10 times that price, if they become the Smugglers themselves. Avoid the middle man. $600 per Rohingya, sell them
straight to the Captain. The ship Captain is the King of the Sea and there are so many kings in that sea. Migrant workers from Cambodia and Myanmar are forced to work in Thai fishing industry, Life on a 15-meter trawler is brutal, violent and unpredictable. 20 hours work day. Those who were too ill to work or disobedient were thrown overboard after being shot. Many of these slave ships stay out at sea for years at a time, trading slaves from one boat to another and being serviced by cargo boats, which travel out from Thai ports towards international borders to pick up the slave boats’ catch and drop off supplies.
Sex Slaves
Thai women returning home after being rescued from forced prostitution at a brothel overseas. Thailand is doing too little to prevent human trafficking into the sex trade, fishing-related industries and domestic servitude.
Karen Child Slave
A 13-year-old Burmese girl who was tortured for five years by a Thai couple who treated her as a slave has finally been awarded $143,000 in compensation by a local court. “The couple is still at large, but lawyers will investigate all of the employers’ properties to compensate her”. Only
on court paper, with the deep corruption in Thailand, that poor girl at the end will get nothing, not even one Baht. The victim, who was just 7 years old when she was sold into slavery, must live with horrendous scars over half her body after she was regularly drenched with pots of boiling water for perceived disobedience. The girl, an ethnic Karen known as Air, says she was kidnapped while her illegal-migrant parents were working in sugarcane fields in northwest Thailand. She was then sold to a Thai couple who made her work as a maid and sleep in a dog kennel. Air says she escaped once and summoned the police, only to be returned to her abusers, who allegedly cut off the tip of her ear as punishment. The girl eventually escaped successfully on Jan. 31 last year. The couple accused of torturing Air — identified as Nathee Taengorn, 36, and Rattanakorn Piyavoratharm, 34 — skipped town after they were inexplicably released on police bail despite facing seven serious charges. Local media reports alleged the pair had “influential” connections. The police have yet to offer an explanation for Air’s claim that they returned her to her captors after her first escape bid. It will be funny watching how Junta is going to implement that treaty. Maybe Junta should start with all these corrupt Officials who are referred to as ” Business Partners” by the smugglers and traffickers.
Who Cares….
Miss Universe Thailand, Weluree “Fai” has resigned less than a month into her reign after being harshly criticized on social media over her political comments and looks for being fat. Fai said: “You Red Shirts, you get out of here” .”Thailand’s soil is dirty because of people like you.”. That’s the “Elite” views too. What do you think Miss “Clean”, we should do with the “Dirty” People. Send them back to Laos. I am glad to see her go. She didn’t even deserve to win that title. Everyone watched that on TV was voting for “Ellie” Pimbongkod chankaew.
I am not going to talk about cooked results, voting scam or corruption. That never happen in Thailand. I am not going to mention Qatar buying Thailand vote to win the right to host the 2022 World Cup. How many millions did you make “Worawi Makudi”?
Anyway, its only millions. What about the Billions that these “Generals” will be making. Who’s going to check and balance the ruling military regime? No One. Such is the nature of absolute rule. Under military rule, there won’t be any MPs scrutinizing these projects in parliament. There won’t be any businessmen coming out to discuss if there’s any corruption. State agencies won’t keep watch. Media can’t criticize Junta. They can’t even ask General “Prayuth” hard questions, only easy questions allowed. In Thailand, corruption isn’t just a problem. It’s endemic. The Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC) has previously estimated that corruption accounted for about 30% of any given development project. Some have said it is as high as 50%. Better cut than street Mafia. A new 18-member of the Board of Investment has been appointed by an order of the National Council for Peace and Order with General Prayuth Chan-ocha sitting in the board as the chairman. The other members of the board are ACM Prajin Jantong, air force commander-inchief and advisory board of NCPO; General Chatchai Sarikalya, deputy chief of the advisory board. Its good to see Thailand wealth goes to the “Generals”. Anyway General Prayuth, you were due to retire from the Army in September. Not now, the Sky has opened and billions will be yours now. Welcome to Thailand Billionaire Club. Where is no questions asked. Its a Free Ride.
I am so Happy to see your Happy Campaign. I am sure you “Generals” are so Happy now. I doubt Thai people will be Happy with that free plate of omelet & rice or free hair cut or free concert. Thai people are getting smart now. They want a slice of that Pie.
We believe NCPO when they say there will be no corruption. As we believed them when they said that Facebook was down because of technical problems and later we found out that DTAC was ordered to restrict its 10 million customers from accessing Facebook by NCPO. I don’t care about Miss Universe Thailand, Weluree “Fai” has resigned. But I do care about that absolute power to that Military rule with no questions asked.
Junta Finger…sss
three-fingered salute
Thailand’s military rulers said Tuesday they are monitoring a new form of silent resistance to the coup — a three-fingered salute borrowed from “The Hunger Games” — and will arrest those in large groups who ignore warnings to lower their arms. What the symbol meant, People say it means.
1. Liberty, 2. Equality, 3. Fraternity. 1. Freedom, 2. Election, 3. Democracy. 1. No Coup, 2. Liberty, 3. Democracy. It’s simply a show of silent resistance to the recent coup, but even that silent resistance will land you in jail. Some people in Thailand still think, they have fundamental political rights. “Sombat” a red shirt dreamer. He called on people to raise “3 fingers, 3 times a day” — at 9 a.m., 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. raise their right arm and stay still for 30 seconds. I tell you what “Sombat”. The only place, you will enjoy your “3 Fingered Salute” is Jail with your freedom seekers. Always remember. You have no fundamental rights.
Anyway, Rule is Rule, Law is Law especially when it is coming from Junta. The rule was “3 Fingered Salute”. Let’s all switch to “One-Fingered Salute” until a new rule comes. Cheers “Finger Salute” to the “General”…
One-Fingered Salute
One Year in Hell
General Prayuth. Last Tuesday, you requested threatened to be asked easy questions and cheer you on. I just want to ask you an easy simple question! . You are weak. Why? During your Royal Endorsement. I looked at your face and I saw tears in your eyes. You are the man in charge, to run the country. No tears. Be Strong. If you have no clue, what are you doing. Just step down and let it go. No pride in here now. Its Thailand future in your hands. Wipe your tears and stand strong. In a national televised address more than a week after seizing power, army chief General Prayuth said. “The “ruling military regime” have a time frame of one year and three months to move towards elections,”
General Prayuth outlined a three-phase process:
Reconciliation between the factions which he said would take up to three months. I would like to see that happens. No second class citizens, no water buffalo. I would like to see the Elite share “Thailand wealth” with the north. Only 3 month to fix that divide. But you are not helping by going arresting the Red Shirts. Forget about that “Time to Think” and be fair. Anyway,”Talk is Cheap”. We will see in 3 month. Temporary constitution would be drawn up and an interim prime minister and cabinet chosen to enact reforms. “This process will take approximately a year, depending on the situation,” That’s when a “Tailored Constitution” will be drafted to give the Elite, a chance at the Vote Booth. Makes me wonder, how far and how deep you are going to change the constitution. Time will tell. We will “wait and see”. { if you have been called a water buffalo by the Elite before, then you can’t vote. But, there is no water buffalo in the constitution. Wrong, not the new constitution. Look. You see. No Vote for the North}. “The third phase will be democratic elections”. Another “Cheap Talk”. I don’t see anything democratic since you took power. Just release all the detainees. They don’t need “Time to Think”. They need to go back to their families. Lift the curfew. Tourists are not coming, Thai girls are fleeing to Singapore now. Investors pulling out of Thailand stocks and bonds. Baht is losing value. The economy is going downhill.
Another Dark Day in JuntaLand
About half a dozen soldiers took education minister Chaturon Chaisang into custody in a chaotic scene at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Thailand, where he had just finished giving a surprise news conference. When the news conference was finished and Chaturon was being interviewed by Thai journalists, soldiers entered the room, surrounded him and escorted him out through a crowd of reporters. Before being hustled into an elevator, Chaturon said: “I’m not afraid. If I was afraid, I wouldn’t be here.” Chaturon called for elections and warned that resistance to the army overthrow could grow, which could lead to “a disaster for this country”. Before his detention Chaturon said a “coup d’etat is not a solution to the problems or conflicts in Thai society, but will make the conflicts even worse”. He said he would not resist arrest or go underground, but since he did not “accept the coup, I could not report to those who staged it”. “I still insist to use my own rights and liberty to call for returning the country to democracy”
Swift Concert Canceled.
Taylor Swift Cancelled her Tour in Thailand, because of the Military Coup. Come on Swift, You can’t name your Tour “The Red Tour”. What are you thinking? Red not Allowed. Color Banned :). Curfew hours!. General Prayuth could made exception for your Concert, if you gave free tickets to his twin daughters. Think, Swift. This is JuntaLand. - Taylor Swift, you didn’t watch that video about Rich Thai Elite Fool. No Red Ferrari.
Thailand Elite
Funny as Hell.
Ask Easy Questions and Cheer him or Legal action. On Monday, after General Prayuth speech for his Royal Endorsement. Two reporters asked Prayuth about a new prime minister, specifically inquiring if he was planning to install himself as PM, and if there was a time frame for a general election. The General gets upset and ends the meeting. On Tuesday, the reporters summoned to the army’s headquarters and Army secretary Maj. Gen. Ponlapat Wannapak told the Bangkok Post’s Wassana Nanuam and Thai Rath’s Suppalerk
Thongchailit that the leader of Thailand’s coup, Gen. Prayuth Chan-ocha, wanted them to stop asking “aggressive questions.” “Such a forceful style of asking is not appropriate,” Wannapak told the reporters. “Therefore, we ask for cooperation. Do not ask in such a manner again.” “The press should cheer him on”. “In the current situation,” he added, “any action that will affect the problem-solving efforts and confidence in the army can take legal action, but the army does not want to do that.”
Crystal Clear General. Next time, Just give them a list of questions that they can ask the General so he can answer with Grace and Confidence. If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.
Royal End………..orsement General Prayuth comes dressed in a white uniform and flanked by more than a dozen other military officials, addressing the reporters in Bangkok, saying he had received a Royal Endorsement from the King to head the ruling military council, to run the politically unstable country and warned of a potential crackdown on people protesting military rule.
More Power to you General. Nice white uniform, you have on. Nice self celebration for your Royal Endorsement. But why there was no Royals present. No Royal Blessings. Was the Royal Endorsement Verbal or Written. Who relayed that Royal Endorsement to you. Let me think, it must be “Perm Tinsulanonda”. He is almost Royal anyway. I am sure Perm drafted a nice Royal Endorsement for you and set the guidelines for you to follow. Long Live the Thai People..
What Curfew What is the Curfew hours again? 10 pm-5 am. The Police busted club Insomnia in Pattaya at 10:30 PM last night. Insomnia is paying a lot of Tea money to the Police. Maybe, the Police is getting more greedy as usual and they want more money so they raided Insomnia last night. The Police always give Insomnia more slack as usual. These Party animals will be walking in the streets during your restricted Curfew hours. Please, No Shooting. No Killing. Peace. Keep the Party going. I just wonder now, Why 7/11 doesn’t pay the Tea Money too. So, we can have 7/11 Open..
General Prayuth, You are pushed by the Elite to do their dirty work. I hope you know the consequences of your Junta.
It looks like The Police is going to shake it on the dance floor, because of the Curfew outside. Walking street is dead. The Police can have fun too. The Police has the moves :)
Country without a King! What is going on in Thailand! makes me wonder. Where is the King. How is the King health. Is the King dead!!.
Who knows‌ They know..
Where are you hiding Prince? The Crown prince of Thailand and his 30-strong royal entourage set up camp at a five-star hotel in the Hampshire countryside as his nation is wracked by political violence. While Maha Vajiralongkorn and his royal retinue have taken over a wing of grade-II listed Tylney Hall in the village of Rotherwick, is a small village situated in the Hart district of Hampshire, England. 6,000 miles away from the Royal Thai Army. Meanwhile, Prince Vajiralongkorn, heir apparent to revered King Bhumibol Adulyadej, has set up residence in rural England with a squad of security guards. Rooms at Tylney Hall start at £250 a night, rising to £530 for the Duke and Duchess Suites with four-poster beds and whirlpool baths. The prince’s entourage arrived a week ago, his possessions being unloaded from a huge lorry. One onlooker said: “There seemed to be hundreds of boxes. It looked like they were planning to stay a while.”
A Show of Power in JuntaLand
Today, General Prayuth Chan-ocha, ordered 155 political leaders, including the Shinawatra clan and both pro- and anti-government protesters to report to him at Thai army headquarters in Bangkok. The army tell them, don’t bring your cell phone to the meeting. They show up. After 30 minutes. They detained Yingluck, her sister and brother-in-law,”. It seems Yingluck was held at an army base in Saraburi province, north of Bangkok. Under a martial law provision allowing the military to hold people for up to seven days without charge. The junta, which is already holding most of the government it ousted in a coup in secret locations against their will, said it would keep former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra and others in custody for up to a week to give them “time to think”.
“Time to Think”. Our Way, not Your Way. Time to accept our illegitimate actions. Time to forget about democracy, freedom. You have no right to express your views. No right to have fundamental rights. No Free Speech. No Free movement. TV, what TV. Internet, Lucky we kept the internet until now. Behave or no Internet. We set the time for you to go home and the time that you can leave home. If you disagree, We have the right to shoot you. We have the right to detain you for a week without any charges. so, you can have “Time to Think”. Democracy is not good for you. Junta Dictatorship fits you perfectly. Simply, you have no rights whatsoever. Don’t think your way or the right way. We are giving you “Time to Think” Our Way. Don’t Think “It is your constitutional right” because we suspended the Constitution. We are the Law, We are the Constitution, We are your worst Nightmare. Welcome toThailand JuntaLand.
Free Thailand
Reports circulating that the military was attempting to detain red shirts in the north and north-east of the country. The army has also closed off a Thailand-Laos border crossing in an attempt to prevent them fleeing the country.
It’s a Thaksin thing. Squeeze her out. General Prayuth Chan-ocha, Yingluck, Prem “the big Mafia Boss”
General Prayuth Chan-ocha, Yingluck, Prem “the big Mafia Boss”
Prem. What are you cooking?
Judicial Coup. Army Coup. It’s Elite Coup. The Elite fear Thaksin. They fear losing Power. Will Yingluck be another Thaksin fugitive now ! What will satisfy the Elite! What now. Stop Non Elite from voting so the Elite will have a chance of winning elections. Where is the King when he is needed most. Why he vanished in a thin air when he is needed to step up and show “Who is The King in that mess” There must be a stand by the Thai People during these Bullying times to show the real fabric of Thai People. These are testing times, hard times and the whole world is watching. I hope the Thai people step up and rise against that corrupt system and put an end to these Elite Tactics. No Army can stop the Power of the People. I hope/imagine the Thai people make history, millions and millions march toward Bangkok, stand strong and united. “Where is the Army now”. or “What will the Army do”. Hurry up with that Martial Law curfew 10 pm to 5 am. The Thai Police can’t go and collect “the Tea Money” from all these Night Clubs + Agogos in Bangkok and Pattaya now. That’s a lot of money, every night under these Curfew hours. All these night spots + Thai girls will loose a lot of money and be out of Business if that Curfew lasted so long. 10 PM, that’s when the Thai girls start going out to pick up their customers. That’s what is called Night Life and that Curfew, doesn’t help. I suggest that you change the Curfew hours to 10 am – 8 pm. So we keep the night business going in these Night Spots. Keep the Police happy and the Thai Girls Rich :).

Godfather “Prem” has the Armed forces well under control for his Elite gang. Its a Family Business. No one mess with the Family Business. Money, Power, Greed rules. Too Many Weapons in Bangkok now with the Red Shirts. Red Shirts are so mad now. Police can’t control. Army moves in. Army doesn’t consult the government. Army just declare Martial Law over night. What government?. You only need to execute orders from the Big Mafia Boss ” Prem”. Don’t forget the threats made against the Twin daughters of Thai Army Commanderin-Chief Prayuth Chan-ocha’s by a Red Shirt supporter on Jan, 2014. That made it even more Personal. “Taking them alive as hostages will be very good. But catching them dead is also worth it. Prayuth will know the taste of losing loved ones. “
Godfather “Prem” and Prayuth.
The Red Shirts are fighting for their right to Vote, for equality and Justice. Against the Elite who are fighting for their right to drive a Ferrari in Bangkok streets “Joy Ride. Fight Justified.
Thailand Elite
Royal Mumbo Jumbo
Wasting local state money building temporary palaces for visiting royals. When they meet the King or Queen they must crawl before their feet and recite Mumbo Jumbo “ ” “May the power of the dust on the soles and the dust under the soles of your royal feet protect my head and the top of my head.” I can’t believe it, is that Real or Fiction. Someone wake me up. It’s 2014. It’s not the stone age. No person and I mean no one is dust under the feet of another.
It must be nice to be Thai Royal:
The Thai King is the Richest Monarch in the World. Net worth 30 Billion USD. During the last 20 years the Palace Budget has been increased 20 times, from 141 million Baht to 2.6 billion Baht. (Note: The poor English Queen has hardly seen a rise in her Palace Budget in 20 years and has to manage with a 358 million Baht.). 6 billion Baht is paid-out annually from the State Budget to finance Thailand’s Royal Projects. 60 military units with over 30,000 soldiers to guard the Thai monarchy. I thought all Thai people love the Monarch, why the massive military guards. Collection of huge sum of money from corporation and public donations straight to the Royal family. I think all that huge amount of money that goes to the Royal Family is justified.
You don’t see Royal Dog Foo Foo in another Monarchy. You don’t see a Princess sitting naked in front of 600 international visitors for a dog birthday Party. Only in Thailand Royal Palace.
You don’t see a Dog with an Air Marshal Rank in the air force. Only in Thailand Royal Family. Money Justified.. Money well spent. I think, the Royal family deserve a raise this year.
I remember when the king spoke in his birthday and said:
“Progress and stability will come true if everyone in the nation discharges his duty with all his might and puts the common interest before his own interest,” .
Is that Right, your highness! Common interest will be taking care of that area behind the mountains called “Isan”, develop it, take care of its people. Roads never paved, running water never reached these villages until 1990. No public health care system. No money, Out of luck. Die or sell the land. Thanks to Thaksin, he fixed that mess. “They shall do that with their wisdom, conscience, honesty and sincerity. “I ask all of you here who hold important positions in major institutions of the country, and all groups of Thais, to…set your sights on performing your duties to the best of your ability for the glorious success of this country.” Right on. Honest, Hard working government officials, Thailand has. From the Policeman in the street, all the way up to the Royal Privy council. No corruption, No Greed. Well said “King”. Visakha Bucha Day is coming on May 13. When Buddha saw his people suffering. He gave up his kingdom, his wealth and he wanted more than anything to discover how one might overcome suffering. he started his journey to find true happiness and achieved enlightenment. But King “Bhumibol Adulyadej” wants, the poor Thai people to be self sufficient. So, the Royal Family can have more money, more wealth. Your words of wisdom enlightened me. I see the light now, maybe after I clear that Royal Dust from my eyes.
So much Royal Dust in the Air. Time to take a shower and rinse that Dust.
No Touch…. Mumbo Jumbo…
Sunandha Kumariratana
Sunandha Kumariratana was the daughter of King Mongkut and Princess Consort Piam of Thailand. She was born in 1860 and was the first queen consort. In 1880, when Kumariratana was only 19 years old, her boat capsized on the way to Bang Pa-In Royal Palace. She drowned despite the fact that there were many onlookers present that could have helped her. They didn’t because they were not allowed to touch the queen. If they had, they could have been put to death. So ironically and tragically, they were not allowed to save her life. The grief-stricken Chulalongkorn later erected a memorial to her and his unborn child at the Bang Pa-In Palace.
Thai Fix Thailand Bangkok never treated them equally. Thailand Bangkok always looked down on them as second class citizen. Not educated enough. They have no right to get involved in Politics or better themselves. You just stay in your farm and we will give you what we feel is good for you. We will decide for you because you are not smart enough to decide what’s good for you or your family. We all Thais in Thailand. But, you know what. You are from Isan. You have to learn how to speak the Thai language properly. You have to get rid of that Laos origin in you. We want some change in the law too, we call it “POLITICAL REFORMS” that would prevent you from voting at all. So, we can win in Elections. It amazes me when I see some few people from Isan praising the court verdict today against Yingluck Shinawatra. They are the same people who deny their Lao-ness, and pretend to be from Bangkok. They just try to Fit In. Shame on you, for feeling ashamed of who you are. Shame on you for spacing yourself from your real family, just to Fit in. What a First Class citizen, you are now from Bangkok. Sad to see, that you believed that stereotype that was placed on you, all your life.
I think the best “Thai Fix” is 3 Separate States in Thailand:
The Muslims State in the South. Just keep them there, let them do what they do best, with each other. Bomb and Kill each other, better than attacking and killing civilians and monks.
Isan State in the North. Where real democracy should rule and take care of the people. The hard working people who want the best for their families and kids. Not a Few Corrupted Elite. Power to the People.
Bangkok Elite Few. Let them rule it with corruption and greed as usual until Bangkok goes underwater and sink by 2030 as predicted by rising sea level. Let’s all hope that “The Elite” sink and disappear off the face of the earth forever.
Today is The Day Thai court ruling in PM Yingluck Shinawatra’s power abuse case Today. I don’t have to sit and wait for the court ruling. I already know the Thai Court Corrupt System. I already know for sure, The Thai Court will remove Yingluck Shinawatra from office. Corrupt people, Corrupt Law, Corrupt system. let’s wait for the court ruling and I hope I am Wrong. But, I Doubt it.. As I expected from the corrupt Thai System. The court rules. Yingluck Goes. Yingluck crushed by the “Corrupt Triangle = Army+Senior Judges+The Elite” doing the same old undemocratic tactics because they know they can’t beat Yingluck at the Vote box. It is this corrupt triangle rather than the country’s electorate that determines who will govern here in Thailand. This corrupt triangle has deposed three democratically elected prime ministers since 2006 and here we go again, one goes out today. It seems to me the main goal of that “corrupt triangle” is eradicating the Shinawatra family from Thai politics. They have justified their vendetta by accusing Thaksin of everything from treason, corruption, conflict of interest and authoritarianism to concealing wealth and insulting the revered King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Their hate comes from the fact that the billionaire Thaksin successfully parlayed a populist agenda into broad popularity, especially in the rural north and northeast, that has allowed him and parties linked to him to win elections repeatedly. The so-called “The Elite” have not won a national election since Thaksin’s first win in 2001. His enemies are motivated by “a fear of Thaksin and the prospect of never winning elections under democratic rules. That scares them. It leaves the old elites powerless against future dominance and money.
Her Crime was abusing her power. Thawil’s transfer was motivated by nepotism. Thawil Pliensri, was the head of the National Security Council. He was appointed by a previous government that was deeply hostile to Yingluck’s party, and he was publicly critical of her government. So after winning the 2011 election she moved him to a different post and put in a national security head of her own choice. In most democratic countries that would be seen as a normal part of politics. So the actual complaint the Constitutional Court ruled on was that Yingluck actually replaced Thawil with a general called Paradorn Pattanatabut, who is not a relative, but his promotion allowed a distant relative of hers, also a general, to move up in the hierarchy, which is normal. It didn’t give him political power or more money, but any old accusation will do if the court works for the opposition. The Constitutional Court found Yingluck guilty of nepotism and ordered her to step down.
The Elite wants “political reforms” that would prevent the rural poor, Thaksin’s biggest source of support, from voting at all.
The Big problem for them now, is that Thais now expecting that they will have a political voice in the government of their country.
Who is the Idiot? IDIOT, Royal or Loyal !
Princess Srirasmi
Yingluck Shinawatra Yingluck Shinawatra is not an Idiot, IDIOT. Her father was a member of parliament for Chiang Mai. She is a descendant of the ruling monarch of Chiang Mai through her grandmother, Princess Jantip Na Chiang Mai (Greatgreat-granddaughter of King Dharmalangka of Chiang Mai). Yingluck graduated with a BA degree from the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration, Chiang Mai University in 1988 and received a MPA degree (specialization in Management Information Systems) from Kentucky State University in 1991.
Rubbish by Rubbish.
.
RIP…”Mai-Nueng Goontee” or Kamol Duangpasuk was a radical Red Shirt poet. He was gunned down on Wednesday in cold blood by assassins as he left a Bangkok restaurant. In recent days Royalist extremists (I call them the Elite Blood Suckers) had set up what they called the “Rubbish Collection Organisation” to deal with people who oppose the royalists, the military and the conservative ruling elites. Hospital director and former general, Dr. “Rientong Nanna” founded the “Rubbish collection organization.”, that Rubbish group had announced that some anti-monarchists elements needed to be handled by ‘special means,’ which could be implied as encouraging violence.” They are responsible for their first death “Kamol”. They have blood on their hands. This is a sad day for Thai democracy. While the fanatics hunt down people who dare to criticize the elites, accusing them of lèse-majesté, Those who commit violence on the streets against prodemocracy activists continue to enjoy impunity. The “Elite Blood Suckers” can’t win any elections voted by the people. The only way to stay in power by assassination and intimidation. They just resort now to lèse-majesté to justify their criminal activities. The sad thing is the corrupted army is on their side with these bought out generals. To be in a high position in the Thai Army, Police or Judicial system. You need to have connections. The sad reality, is that network of connections is “the Elite Blood Suckers”.
People just complain about Thai Police corruption because they face it and see it on daily basis, but the Army corruptions is in Billions. The army budget has doubled since a 2006 military coup. The Thai military is a perennial source of cost overruns and corruption allegations. Who forget the 350 million baht purchase of a leaky surveillance blimp and more than 700 UK-made GT200 bomb detectors that turned out to be an embarrassing scam. They are lumps of plastic with no working mechanical parts. The Thai People are getting politically smart now. They Know and they will react. Enough is Enough.
Dr.
Rienthong Nanna and his “Rubbish Collection Organization have launched a witch-hunt for lese majeste offenders, setting family members against each other. He urged his supporters to arm themselves with weapons for combat with what he called the anti-monarchy movement. “Rubbish” was set up to “exterminate” people who “insult”’ the monarchy.
Who is the Man! Who is in Charge! Who is Who!
Metropolitan Police Bureau chief Lt Gen. Khamronwit Thoopkrachang has come under fire for visiting Hong Kong to meet ousted prime minister Thaksin. Thaksin arrived from Singapore and has been in Hong Kong since Wednesday. Is Lt Gen Khamronwit handcuffing Thaksin? Of course Not. Are you Crazy! He is giving him acupuncture in a wine shop. Funny, Sad or Realistic. A top senior police officer, who is duty-bound to enforce the law, serving a fugitive from justice. What is the big deal ! It’s not the first time. A Few months before Yingluck Shinawatra became prime minister in 2011, Thaksin Shinawatra, had a meeting with the crown prince of Thailand, Maha Vajiralongkorn in southern Germany’s Alpine foothills, Bavaria. so the Thai Prince was meeting with a fugitive from justice too. Who forgets Thaksin gift to the crown prince in early 2001: a Maybach luxury car worth 22 million baht, which was subsequently integrated into the royal fleet. Money talks, Money Rules. What Law. What Justice. $$ Thai Justice $$ The only 2 concerns I have: 1- Who paid for the wine. 2- 2- Who has the bigger wine Glass.
Cheers to the Mastro.
Mastro Thaksin
Red, Yellow, Violence, Riots. Corrupt Politicians, Corrupt Police, Corrupt Army, Corrupt Judiciary system. That’s what the news offer you, just a snap shot of what happened. No proper analysis to the Why? factor. No insight to the root of the problems that Thailand had, has and will have. Here we go again, Mastero Thaksin pull the strings to move the puppets, so many strings to move, so many puppets to synchronize. Some cash money from Papa Thaksin to the red shirts clan celebrating the Thai new year, just in time. Is the price still 2000 Baht, or maybe inflation will be added and the price will go up slightly.Be more generous “Thak Sin”. Anyway, Its all their hard earned rice money. Money well spent “MastroThaksin”. Always, amazes me how you mastered the “How, What, Where, When and Who” to move. Anyway, I never liked that corrupt Thai Judicial System. That was my view on Today’s article: “Red Shirts brace for Judicial coup” Happy Songkran Thailand..
Mafia State So here is my insight. Land of smiles is full of division and deep hatred. Land of smiles has a king who never smiles since he killed his brother and took over the monarchy. A king, who is physical and mental (depression) health in downhill state. A King who has no control but is controlled as a Puppet by “Prem Tinsulanonda”. The Monarchy is good for that few Elite blood suckers in the circle. Queen Sirikit claimed her power shot with privy council president Prem Tinsulanonda who, along with others presenting themselves as royalists, worked with the PAD and other agitators for the 2006 coup that have contributed to the downfall of Thaksin. As a member of the royal family she is in theory expected to be politically neutral but the Queen always supported PAD, and that showed openly when she attended the funeral of PAD protester “Angkhana Radappanyawut” on October 2008. Anyway, the Queen health is deteriorating now after her stroke in 2012 and her power shot is gone. Prem is fighting so hard now. Everything is against him and his selected blood suckers. An ailing king, is not going to be alive for long. Perm is trying his best to block Prince “Maha Vajiralongkorn” from being the next king. All the fingers points to “Prem Tinsulanonda” about leaking that Dog “Foo Foo” Birthday party where Princess Srirasmi was sitting naked in front of 600 guests. Perm is the one who leaks information about Prince Maha death and his health issues. They don’t want Prince Maha to be the next king even if they have to go to the extreme and assassinate the Prince. Mafia on top is more brutal than Mafia on bottom. Billions on top while millions on bottom. If the prince becomes the next king of Thailand. Thaksin will be back to Thailand. Thaksin will be running the show in Thailand. Thaksin has the upper hand with the prince (you have to read all my blog to know what I am talking about). Oh, My Buddha, if Thaksin is back on top, all these blood suckers “Elite” will be history. Thaksin time for revenge will be brutal for them. They understand that and they will take all the measures to stop it. Bloodshed, assignations and extreme measures will be the norm during that period. The wheel of greed and power will crush whatever and whoever stands on their way. Thai people are being played and manipulated. Their lives put at risk for their political goals. Thaksin was the only corrupted politician who cared about the “second class citizens”, “the water buffaloes”. That’s why I think Thaksin was genius. He has the majority of Thailand behind him. The power of Thai people will prevail at the end.
Naked Princess Srirasmi Video
Naked Princess Srirasmi
Is he “King in Waiting” or underworld criminal “Sia O” waiting for his “HIV” to end his life. His “Royal” Princess sits naked in a Dog Party attended by 600 guests as it’s so normal, so cool. That’s so “Royal” Princess Srirasmi . Your people “Real Thai People” are starving. Your “Own Sons” in Exile and not allowed to sit a foot on Thailand and You “Prince” makes this Lavish Party for Dog “Foo Foo” Birthday. Pardon me Prince. I should say Air Chief Marshal “Foo Foo”. What a ……! Life in exile in Germany with your mistress might suit you perfectly. or maybe we should allow soldiers in your personal guard to wear guns in your presence from now on and that will be “Good for Thailand”. It seems that old prophecy that the Chakri dynasty will last only nine generations is on Track
A King or A Puppet
Socially isolated, and often seemingly adrift from reality, the king has been a puppet for much of his reign. The Thai elite are the ones pulling the strings that moves the Puppet “King”. Thai elite needed the king’s sacred aura to legitimize their supremacy, and the leading members of the establishment had to make a constant effort to make Bhumibol believe they worshiped him, and to convince their inferiors in the network that their instructions were imbued with royal authority. Many figures in the various circles attempt to appropriate the charisma of the King and prestige of the royal institution for their own purposes without any official remit, a process known in Thai as“ang barami.” … Even Thai relatively close to royal principals treat purported wishes conveyed by other royal associates with caution, given the tradition of self-serving “ang barami.”
Rice or Dice. Scheme or Scam
Thailand Rice Problem What is that Thai Rice Scheme? Corruption charges! that will end Yingluck and give her same fate as Thaksin. The whole idea of that rice scheme was like that, Thai government buy the rice from the farmers above market price. The Thai government hold the rice for a while from the global market. Now, the rice prices will shoot up high. Then, Thai government sell the rice with a high profit. Thailand made money, the Thai farmer made money, The Farang paid more money for the rice. But who cares about the Farang loosing money. The Farang doesn’t vote in Thailand, his vote doesn’t count. People say that was money to pay for the farmers vote. to keep them loyal to Thaksin. Who cares, more money for the rice will lift the living conditions for the hard working people in Isan. Will raise their minimum wages. Which is a good thing, to close the widened gap between the workers in the farming sector and the industrial sector. Its all good for Thailand development. That was the plan, the scheme. Supply and demand. But that didn’t go well as planned or as predicated. Thailand hold their Rice exports, to increase the price. But, India increases their rice export. Now, Thailand got stuck with tons of Rice in storage no one wants to buy, will get spoiled if not sold with a huge loss. The Thai government
paid a 40% up price for a rice that is sitting in the warehouses. Thailand lost Billions in that Rice scheme. Corruption spread all over. People on Top stealing millions, all the way to the end of the chain where rice was moved from Myanmar and sold to the Thai government for double profit. The Thai government is loosing billions, The Thai banks affiliated with the opposition stopped the loans so the Farmers turn their back to Thaksin and join the opposition. The Opposition used the judicial system and forced corruption charges against Yingluck for misuse of power and corruption. Same charges that faced Thaksin before and made him fled Thailand. The idea of the Scheme was good. Rice monopoly, increase the rice price make huge profit. Money Flows to the Thai economy. Thailand becomes Dubai. Rice becomes Oil. Thai rice price was $550 per million tonne almost a year ago with hardly any takers in world market. Thai farmers could not be paid for the high-priced paddy. Now, the Thai government is desperately selling paddy at a discount of about $300 per million tonnes, just to get rid of the excess supply before it gets spoiled. What a Huge Loss. Thailand Rice Farmers Scrabble for Credit as Payment for Rice Paddy Is Not Expected until December or January. There are about 720,000 Thailand rice farmers owed 82 billion baht who are waiting for the government to pay them for their paddy under the rice mortgage scheme. The managing director of the BAAC told local media farmers may not be paid the money they are owed until December, or January. A survey by the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) found that to cover daily expenses, about 29% of rice farmers have taken out loans while 22% have dipped into their savings, about 9% have used credit cards, and about 6% are getting money from other sources. To continue farming paddy, about two-thirds said they were using credit cards and about 60% said they were borrowing from other sources. Meanwhile about 30% were using their savings and 16% said they were working side jobs. Makes me wonder, makes me think, How Thaksin comes with that idea. Let me tell you my view. You can agree with it or disagree with it. Its only a a view and its mine. Thaksin tried to implement the same supply and demand, same control over Rice as the Middle East did with Oil. Oil transformed the desert dwellers to millionaires. Desert became symbolic for skyscrapers and high-rise buildings. All because of Oil. Thaksin, Thaksin, you lived too long in Dubai. Rice is no Oil. Rice is Rice. You thought one country can take over the Rice price monopoly. Thaksin, your theory is good. But, you started early. maybe 10 years earlier. Just wait a little bit longer for the food shortage supply and play that supply and demand game.
You tried to make Thailand by itself control the world rice price. Thailand is no Opec.We saw how India backfired. Maybe, next time you should include more top rice producing countries as Opec to control the Rice price. And of course, never forget the corruption in Thailand is so deep. Millions made from people on Top, all the way to Myanmar where truck loads of rice was moved to Thailand and they were just happy to get double price for their rice. Thailand’s Finance Ministry has estimated losses from the abandoned rice pledging scheme at around 500 billion baht (around $15 billion). Thailand’s annual GDP is about $365 billion. Farmers pledged rice from five crops beginning 2011-12 main crop (October 2011 – February 2013) to 2013-14 main crop. The government paid 15,000 baht (around $460) per ton, 40-50% higher than the market prices, to farmers under the pledging scheme. Since the dissolution of the government in December 2013, the scheme began encountering problems with inadequate funds to make payments to farmers. The scheme ended February 2014 after it was not renewed. The government still has to pay about 82 billion baht (around $2.5 billion) to farmers, according the Ministry of Commerce. The Caretaker government is rushing to sell stocks from its warehouses to raise funds and pay farmers. Who paid for those lost billions?. The Thai Tax Payer money and they are mad and the opposition is igniting the fire. Yingluck is just confused, Played with from all sides. Used and abused. How or Will you survive that?? Only time will tell and there is no Time left…Time to Go.
The King that never Smiles
The King grew in stature under the corrupt military dictators: Sarit,Tanom and Prapass. Allowed innocent people to be executed after they were falsely accused of killing his older brother. Supported the blood bath at Thammasart University on 6th October 1976 because he felt that Thailand had ‘too much democracy’. He was also the patron of the violent gang that were called the ‘village scouts’. Allowed the army to stage a coup in September 2006. Furthermore he allowed his name to be used by the army, the PAD protesters and the Democrat Party, in the destruction of democracy. He has been an advocate of economic views which reveal his opposition to state social welfare for the poor. But what is worse, as one of the richest men in the world, the king has the arrogance to lecture the poor to be sufficient in their poverty (through the notion of the Sufficiency Economy). Finally, this king allows his supporters to proclaim that he is ‘the father of the nation’, and yet his own son is not respected by anyone in Thai society! The elites in Thailand, who claim legitimacy from the king, are exploiters and blood-suckers. They are not the real owners of society. They should remember that their wealth and status is as a result of the hard work of those ordinary Thai citizens whom they despise and call them “water buffalo” and treat them like second class citizens. For the millions of Thais who know all this to be true, it is only fear and intimidation that stops all from speaking this truth out loud.
The Royal Killing
Royal family crisis in the mid-1980s. Bhumibol and Sirikit had grown apart, the queen’s open infatuation with her military aide Colonel Narongdej Nanda-photidej became profoundly embarrassing for the king. Narongdej was sent away from Bangkok to the United States as a military attache, and died suddenly in New York in May 1985, at the age of just 38. The official explanation was that he suffered a heart attack but many Thais — including Sirikit herself — suspected something more sinister. So what do Thai people say really happened? Thais mistrust the conclusions of the “official” investigation. A heart attack seems unlikely for two reasons: first, the Colonel was young and fit (only 38), he had even won many competitions. Medals too. Hardly the profile of a heart attack victim. Secondly, the bruises. Right across his left cheek, in fact. The Colonel was even found to have a fractured rib. Are these the symptoms associated with a heart attack? Isn’t it more likely that he was violently attacked and killed? But most worrying of all, according to some Thais, no autopsy was carried out on the body. Some even claim the body was “still warm” after being brought back to Bangkok. Something doesn’t add up in all this. Thai police, however, thought little of these unusual clues and closed the case. Orders from “above”. Her very public grief over the colonel’s death spiraled into a breakdown, and at the end of 1985 Bhumibol ordered her to undergo hospital treatment for what was officially called a “diagnostic curettage”. Sirikit vanished from view for months, and with public disquiet growing, Princess Chulabhorn was enlisted to calm anxiety in a televised interview in 1986 in which she declared: We all work for his majesty because of our loyalty towards him.Nobody in our family wants popularity for themselves. Everybody is sharing the work and we work as a team… But again, there are people who say that our family is divided into two sides, which is not true at all. The opposite was true. The whole sad episode spelled the end of Bhumibol and Sirikit’s marriage, and they lived separate lives for the next two decades. A rival royal court developed around Sirikit —characterized by ultra-right wing politics and all-night dinner dances. Thailand’s establishment was never a monolithic united bloc, and the estrangement of Bhumibol and Sirikit further widened the divisions. This gave even greater scope for other leading agents in
the network monarchy — above all,Prem — to pursue their own agenda. As his marriage collapsed, Bhumibol appears to have begun seriously considering abdication. He shocked the nation on his 59th birthday in December 1986 by hinting that he would soon step aside to make way for Vajiralongkorn to rule Thailand but Vajiralongkorn disastrous visit to Japan in 1987 and the embarrassment he made, gave the king no choice but to stay in power.
People Power
Thai society, like most, has seen plenty of violence gone unanswered. The culture of impunity has flourished in Thailand, emboldening military leaders to crack down on resisters and carry out coup after coup, giving themselves legal immunity by passing amnesties for their actions. No military official was ever tried for successfully overthrowing a government. No Thai leader, military or otherwise, has ever gone before the court charged with killing protesters The tables will suddenly turn on those who conspired to eviscerate Thai democracy, turn the judiciary and state institutions into partisan tools of the powerful, and use the lèse majesté law to silence dissent. They will no longer be its masters. It can sometimes seem as if Thailand is too polarized and broken to ever come back from the brink. But it can. The elite — Yellow and Red — have irretrievably lost their legitimacy, but the aspirations of ordinary Thais on opposing sides are remarkably congruent. They want a fair society. They want the rule of law to be respected. They want their political leaders to respond to their needs. They want peace and prosperity. They want their voices to be heard.
Air Chief Marshal Dog “Foo Foo”
Dog Foo Foo
Well done Prince “Maha Vajiralongkorn”, Dog “Foo Foo” has been elevated to the rank of Air Chief Marshal in the Royal Thai Air Force!. Why! Because the crown prince Maha, ex-wife “Yuvadhida Polpraserth” commited adultery with Anand Rotsamkhan, a 60-year-old air marshal. On 3 January 1977 Vajiralongkorn married Princess Soamsavali Kitiyakara (born 1957), a first cousin on his mother’s side. They had one daughter, Princess Bajrakitiyabha in 1978. Crown Prince Vajiralongkorn started living with actress Yuvadhida Polpraserth in the late 1970s and had five children with her. Although Princess Soamsavali had refused divorce for many years, Vajiralongkorn was finally able to sue for divorce in the Family Court in January 1993. In the court proceedings, Vajiralongkorn accused Princess Soamsavali of being completely at fault for the failed relationship. Princess Soamsavali and her daughter continue to play a significant role in royal ceremonies. She was not able to refute the charges due to the prohibition against lèse majesté. The divorce was finalized in July 1993.{Royal Mumbo Jumbo}. When Vajiralongkorn was introduced to Yuvadhida Polpraserth, she was an aspiring actress. She became his steady companion and gave birth to his first son, Prince Juthavachara Mahidol, on 29 August 1979. He later had three more sons and a daughter by her. They were married at a palace ceremony in February 1994, where they were blessed by the King and the Princess Mother, but not by the Queen. After the marriage, she was allowed to change her name to Mom Sujarinee
Mahidol na Ayudhaya, signifying she was a commoner married to a royal. She was also commissioned as a major in the Royal Thai Army and took part in royal ceremonies with Vajiralongkorn. When she fled to Britain in 1996 with their children, Vajiralongkorn had posters placed around his palace accusing her of committing adultery with Anand Rotsamkhan, a 60-year-old air marshal. The prince abducted their daughter and brought her back to Thailand to live with him. She was later elevated to the rank of princess, whilst Sujarinee and her sons were stripped of their diplomatic passports and titles. She and her sons later moved to the United States. As of 2007, Sujarinee is known as Sujarinee Vivacharawongse. Vajiralongkorn married again, on 10 February 2001, to Srirasm Akharaphongpreecha, a commoner from an otherwise modest background who had been in his service since 1992. The marriage was not disclosed to the public until early 2005. She gave birth to a son, Prince Dipangkorn Rasmijoti, on 29 April 2005 and was elevated to become Princess Srirasm, Mom Srirasm Mahidol na Ayuthaya. The son was immediately elevated to the rank of Prince.
