Slamp has been at it for years, scribbling, illustrating far outside typical design frontiers in order to step over established boundaries that classify light as a peripheral element, an afterthought to other objects. specifically defined only thanks to the true architect of visual and emotional consciousness: illumination. This highly customizable, modular system moves lighting beyond its traditional function, enveloping

and enhancing not only material objects, but a fully sensorial experience. Perception shifts, drawing the eye towards behance, uniquely crafted forms there are unlike those seen before: Nuvem is the frontier of illumination, defying gravity and serving as a calling card for any location. Nuvem perfectly incapsulates the fundamental role of light within a space, the decisive animation of other decorative aspects. One meter, hexagonal modules entice the imagination with ingenious solutions that disregard conventional lighting installations. Whatever formation piques interest and captures the aesthetic attention of those destined to inhabit the place, even

if for a fleeting moment, Nuvem’s modules are easily and instinctively connected, hung, and illuminated by bidirectional spots. Not only a luminous ceiling, but true sculpture adapting to vertical or angular surfaces as well, framing an area and serving more as ethereal, floating architecture for interiors of every type, and every size.

Nuvem’s height can be adjusted using the 6 meter cable (234”), and once suspended, the design can be “moulded” using the push and pull system located directly beneath each module. The lamp collapses or tenses when the wires are pushed (released) or pulled, giving the ceiling a fluctuating feeling.

INFINITE EXTENSIONS

The meter-long hexagonal elements are easily connected by hand using a series of interlocking tabs that allow for limitless omnidirectional installation. The modules facilitate the adaptable and mutable personalization of private and contract spaces, adding a strong artistic note to each.

PERSONALIZED SPOTLIGHTS

Nuvem’s lighting system is a series of bidirectional spotlights (one per square meter) that can be positioned above or below (threaded through the modules’ openings). Additional spotlights can be purchased separately for compositions that require amplified illumination.

VERTICAL DECORATION

Zaha Hadid and Slamp have collaborated since 2013 to create visionary, fluid and dynamic glowing architecture that brings the architect’s revolutionary and iconic semantics to hospitality interiors. Pictured Avia Suspension (white and black fade) and Aria Gold Applique.

STRUCTURAL

genesis

The very substance of revolutionary genius, an architectural fingerprint that has left its mark throughout the design world: the iconic work of Zaha Hadid, distilled into a luxurious reminder of the DNA that has changed the definition of inhabitation and perception. Aria and Avia’s sculptural, almost skeletal elements blend with a sense of ethereal weight and structure, transmitting

the same natural, inviting rigidity encompassed in Hadid’s exemplary work. Luxurious geometries encircle the voluminous glowing source slightly hidden within, and much like the DNA defining the architect’s renowned conception, each segment is uniquely cut and reserves its own refractions and reflective angles, projecting rare motifs on surrounding surfaces.

Avia is digitally printed using an in-house technique, tinting with non-toxic, UV-resistant ink. (Greenguard certified in the “Indoor Air Quality” category)

Hadid’s masterpieces are available in a total of 18 sizes and 5 finishes, all handcrafted in Slamp’s atelier just outside of Rome. Pictured the Avia collection, black and white faded.

From metallized Gold to ethereal transparent, polycarbonate versions, Hadid’s masterpieces consist of 50 individual layers that express the renowned Architect’s trademark fluid dynamism.

This Free Standing Tulip system allows for more aesthetic and technical control than the ceiling rose solutions, including connection to a single electrical source and the creation of a multi-point lighting chain using thinly braided copper wires.

UNENDING

Like a bouquet unleashed and its blossoms strewn into the air, suspended in time and molded within space without descent. Tulip creates serene stillness with a refined, subdued glow emanating from handmolded blooms gently, almost invisibly connected to one another by curling wisps. Each collection of blossoms brings an almost weightless dialogue, allowing the

atmosphere around them to calmly flow with silent movement, caressing the delicate stems and muted petals as they cast refractions below them. Infinite possibilities and multiple configurations give way to unending imagination for those who create the verses, and those who cohabitate with this aerial flora turned poetry.

The LED G4 2900 Kelvin lightbulbs come with the product and can be replaced autonomously, a dual-function commodity that allows for more efficient and rapid maintenance, as well as the personal choice of warmer or cooler lighting.

GRACE POIGNANT

Pinpoints of copper stems and flurries of delicate wisps cast minute reflections, buoyant yet defining the surrounding spaces without dominating them. Every individual bloom shines from within, casting a glow that placidly diffuses amongst the intricately woven threads connecting them. An array of predetermined configurations allow for endless aesthetic solutions, from cascades

to bunches, from a luminous blossoming ceiling to gravitydefying geometries that encompass an area without compromising the feeling of inhabiting within the tangible energy of unburdened places. The definition of a personalized visual dialogue, a bouquet of unmapped blooms can be arranged or scattered for heightened, imaginative expression.

Modules can be interconnected horizontally in multiples to illuminate surfaces below, hung individually anywhere and everywhere at a desired angle, or in audacious arrangements, either contained or infinitely expanding downward and outward. The specificallydesigned architectural

system facilitates linear installation, reducing impact to surrounding structures and maximizing range of use tailored to the spaces’ specific purpose.
