down recently and he is another value runner. Good race for quaddie players with plenty of value among the field.

The numbers: 1-8-11-10-3
Race 7, No. 1
QUADRELLA THIRD LEG QUADRELLA FIRST LEG
Race 5 – Combined Metal Industries Ascot Gold Cup 1800m, 5.50pm (EDST) (6) Tudor Lad has been in work for some time, but he continues to race well. He has drawn ideally in gate one and whatever beats him home will win. (10) Sentenza took out this race last year and his last-start performance behind Tudor Lad was good enough to suggest he can finish in the money. Must be included. (4) Geyser Peak and (9) Dante’s Dash look the value runners for quaddie players. The numbers: 6-10-4-9.
Race 7 – Group 2 WaroaLee Steere Stakes 1400m 7.05pm (EDST)
(1) Grey Monarch will appreciate the drop in grade, following his good effort in the Northam Cup. Looks well suited after the claim for Talia Maor and he looks the one to beat. (8) Double Barrel has been costly to punters during his career, but he is the type of horse that must be included in your quaddie selection. Blinkers on is a big plus. Keep safe. (11) Naku Penda is ready to fire again and he has drawn well. (10) Kenbon is a nonwinner that can pop up when least expected, while (3) Caller One trialled the house
Megatic: A known weight carrier well suited at WFA. He has class on his rivals and is drawn perfectly in barrier three, so he should just win. Good luck and happy punting! Mat Nowland, www.perthracing.com.au
Only two chances in the Lee Steere Stakes – (1) Megatic and (3) Idyllic Prince. Megatic is the best suited under the WFA scale and whatever beats him will win. Idyllic Prince was a good last-start winner and if there is a chink in Megatic’s armour he is the one to find it. The numbers: 1-3
QUADRELLA FOURTH LEG
Race 8 –Ledge Finance Handicap 1200m, 7.42pm (EDST)
QUADRELLA SECOND LEG
Race 6 – SRG Corporate Handicap 1500m, 6.25pm (EDST)
Race 4, No. 6 Brava Fortune (eachway): Super effort last start when finishing second behind Hawkeye Mort over 1800m and the step up to 2200m definitely suits. She looks a safe eachway bet.
(11) Liquidation was a star performer first up in much stronger company. Drawn well and he looks the top winning chance. (9) Game Park rattled home for third behind Moonlight Drive last start and he seems to have returned in fine style. (6) Mission Control has drawn wide, but does have class on his side. The numbers: 11-9-6-3-2-10
BEST BETS Race 2, No. 2 Moneghetti: Hit the line powerfully last start behind Dampier Dayz and he meets him 4.5kg better at the weights. Drawn ideally in gate one and he should just blow his rivals apart.
