For more than 75 years, SLCC has made major contributions to Utah’s economy by providing education and training that leads to vibrant careers and a high quality of life.
More than 4,000 students graduate from SLCC each year with a degree or certificate.1 The majority (72%) go on to pursue four-year degrees at Utah’s major universities.2

More than 39,000 enroll to earn credit hours while over 13,000 turn to the College annually to pursue not-for-credit education and training.1
In addition to offering associate degrees, SLCC is the leading provider of applied technology courses and workforce programs in the Salt Lake Valley.
In fact, our career and technical education graduates are highly sought after by employers and typically earn starting wages above $50,000.2

SLCC has among the lowest tuition and fees in the state.
We proactively keep the cost of attending college low and are committed to removing the remaining financial barriers that keep students from enrolling and persisting at SLCC.
SLCC offers more than 170 programs in high demand fields within 8 areas of study, including:

• Humanities 90% of SLCC students graduate without student debt. SLCC provides tuition assistance through federal grants, student loans, and outside scholarships. In 2023-2024, more than 10,219 SLCC students received some form of financial aid.
