was a Biotechnology major interning in the SLCC InnovaBio lab when she started to feel her professors’ positive pressure to get more involved in her college experience. She was inspired to join clubs and perform service through the Thayne Center for Student Life, Leadership and Community

TRIO PROGRAMS
TRIO Programs help first-generation, low-income SLCC students succeed at SLCC and beyond. TRIO services include academic and financial aid planning, transfer advising and single-parent resources for students who plan to pursue bachelor's degrees. Apply for TRIO online.
