The journey through cancer care can be both confusing and frustrating. No patient “goes it alone” at the Littman Cancer Center. To help guide the patient through the process, we offer the support of a patient navigator.

Schedule medical appointments Provide transportation resources Provide insurance resources Research and apply for financial grants when applicable Obtain Durable Medical Equipment when needed Provide free literature on any cancer related subject Provide information on resources available in the community Free Cancer Support Groups (4 different groups are available) Assist in obtaining wigs, caps and prosthetics Provide free handmade chemo caps and other comforting knitwear Connect with Cancer Organizations such as ACS, CancerCare, and the Hudson Valley Cancer Resource Center Apply for prescription and Copay assistance Assist with basic needs: food, clothing, and housing Provide emotional support
