SLCH is one of just nine hospitals recognized by The Joint Commission in 2017 for contributing eCQM knowledge and utilization practices for sharing with other accredited hospitals. The garage at our Newburgh campus makes parking convenient, safe and secure. Located right on Dubois Street, the garage is connected to the hospital by an enclosed pedestrian bridge. Self-service pay stations are located on the first and third levels of the garage.

OUR CAMPUSES Newburgh Campus

The 242-bed Newburgh campus, founded in 1874 and currently located on Dubois Street, is the SLCH inpatient hub. Services include the SLCH Cardiovascular Institute, including a cardiac catheterization lab that opened in February 2005, the Institute for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery, Urology, Thoracic Surgery, the Birthing Center and Elaine Kaplan Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Orthopedics and the Center for Joint Replacement, as well as general surgery, ambulatory surgery, and imaging and laboratory services. SLCH recently announced an $8 million dollar expansion project for the Emergency Department that will include a dedicated observation area and MRI suite in addition to enhancements to improve efficiency and the patient experience.

The Cornwall campus was founded in 1931 on Laurel Avenue. Today, the Cornwall campus is a thriving outpatient-focused center. This vital and growing community resource offers necessary healthcare access points to area residents for a variety of services. These include The Littman Cancer Center, which features radiation oncology and an infusion center, Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine, the Kreisberg Family Center for Pain Management, Eastern Orange Ambulatory Surgery Center, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Balance Center, Physical Therapy, the Center for Sleep Medicine, and multi-specialty physician offices.
