Terms & Conditions: Special Orders

Prepayment is required for all accounts. Please allow ten (10) business days for a company check to clear before shipment is made. First five (5) orders must be paid via cash, certified check, cashiers check, money order or wire transfer. Thereafter, company checks may be accepted upon approval of credit and verification of credit worthiness. Your company name and address must appear on your check and match your account with seller’s permit information. Temporarily, personal and postdated checks are not acceptable. VIG will charge a fee of $30 for each returned check and will no longer accept checks after a second returned check.

Please note that there may be variations in shade due to natural origin of wood, leather and fabric materials. Digital or printed image colors can also be slightly different from the originals. Special orders can be cancelled only within first 48 hours of placing the order. Company reserves right of refusal for refunds or exchanges after such time. All delivery dates are approximate and can change due to production time frame, overseas loading plans, shipping schedule or any other causes beyond our control. Deposit of 30% must be paid before the order will be processed. All merchandise remains the property of the VIG Furniture, Inc. until paid in full. Once notified of arrival, customer is responsible for paying remaining balance of order and making shipping arrangements within ten (10) business days. Claims for any defects or omissions in shipments must be made in writing within 48 hours of receipt of merchandise. Failure to give a written notice within 48 hours shall constitute an irrevocable acceptance of the merchandise delivered. Any portion of shipment of goods that you retain for a period of greater than 48 hours shall constitute an irrevocable acceptance of the merchandise. If customer chooses to refuse any merchandise, the customer must notify VIG Furniture of such refusal in writing within 48 hours of the receipt and agree to reship the merchandise to us in the original condition at customer’s expense within 96 hours after such rejection; otherwise, customer’s acceptance of the goods shall be irrevocable and conclusively presumed. VIG Furniture, Inc. reserves the right to examine and inspect all returned and exchanged items before deciding whether or not a credit will be issued to your account. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. All merchandise that is returned to our warehouse must be packed in original boxes with original packing material. Merchandise that has been assembled will not be accepted for a refund, credit or exchange. VIG Furniture Inc. does not issue cash refunds. Subject to these terms and conditions, we will issue refund or exchange only for defected merchandise or omissions, as approved by VIG Furniture. VIG Furniture Inc. does not accept or honor charge-back, debits, returns, offsets, deductions, or claims without our express written consent. We ask that you exercise common business courtesy and notify us of any issues so that we have an opportunity to address any concerns and amicably reach a solution.

Force Majeure All orders are subject to strikes, labor problems, lockouts, contingencies of transportation, failure of usual source of supply of fuel, materials or labor; accidents, product delay or any other difficulties; and VIG Furniture, Inc. will be relieved from responsibility for delay or failure of delivery arising out of any such causes.

VIG Furniture makes sure to take all possible measures to ensure your orders ship and arrive in the best condition possible. We ask customers to inspect all the merchandise at the time of arrival, and note all damages, or possible concealed damages, before signing the delivery receipt. If the merchandise arrived damaged, please contact us and provide pictures and details of the damages in written form. If damaged merchandise is not reported promptly, we will not be able to assist you with later claims. In case of damages in end-user’s location, it is end-user’s responsibility to keep the package, provide all necessary claim materials and prepare the merchandise to be picked up. All defective merchandise must be returned in the original packing material. We will replace only defected merchandise. VIG Furniture does not issue cash refunds. Shipping charges are not refundable.
