PLAN OF ACTION

ENTREPRENEURSHIPSEMINAR:-1.

The road to success in entrepreneurship throws up unique challenges not found in any other career path. Over the last couple of years, we have seen an increase in the number of SLEMSians owning small to medium-scale businesses across the board. During the executive term, we are going to organize a day seminar with facilitators from different fields of business. The seminar will also serve as a platform for presentation of “Business Ideas” as in a form of modified Dr Willoughby Award. There will be an increase in the cash prize of the award.

I have already established contact with some of the facilitators and they are more than ready to assist.

The implementation strategy of this project will be as follows:-

Call for participants and “Business Idea” project proposals will be made.

Winners of major Business Ideas nationwide will be invited to give a talk.

Business Idea Hub will be established for continued mentorship from the facilitators

Certificate of participation will be awarded.
