slGoth was founded March 2009 and is an independent magazine featuring Gothic lifestyle in the 3D virtual world, Second Life® which is owned by Linden Lab. The magazine focuses on Gothic, Industrial, Dark Urban themes for resident avatars to read as a resource for exploration, shopping, education, and entertainment. The purpose is to bring to the surface quality creations of the residents, their places, philosophy, fashion, entertainment and events, be it big or small. The articles are written by residents and cover a variety of topics in the community. Issues are published monthly in-world and are a wearable HUD which supplies landmarks and gifts from sponsors.
