Thankfully, there is no need to wake up too early. Most markets are open more than three hours, April through October, providing patrons ample opportunity to select the state’s freshest field-to-table products at downto-earth prices. Whether you visit Edmond, Oklahoma City, Moore or Norman, it’s easy to pop around the metro from one market to the next to find the perfect watermelon. Non-food items like locally grown plants, arts and crafts, leather goods and dog treats are also found at most locales.
