A

s the Vail Valley welcomes another busy and vibrant summer, we are excited by the recent activity in the Luxury Market. In January, a home listed by Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate (SSFRE) sold for a record $23 million, the highest residential sale in Eagle County history. Since the beginning of the year, there have been 22 residential sales over $5 million, with an average sales price of $8.3 million*. SSFRE is proud to have listed 12 and sold 14 of those properties. The resort areas continue to be the strongest of the luxury markets, with recent sales closing in Bachelor Gulch, Beaver Creek and Vail Village. However, we see other areas in the Vail Valley with strong, multimillion dollar transactions such as Lionshead, Vail Golf Course, Cascade, Arrowhead and Cordillera. At Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate we believe the luxury market is on a positive trajectory and are hopeful of its continued strength through the second half of 2017.
