WORSHIP SERVICE

Footnotes:

Reva Correia is a very active woman who loves to make quilts and share her talents in service for others. If you can catch up with her on one of her walks, ask her about her history of service along the Amazon River, where she spent 14 years with her husband Robert and five years on the Luzerio III as a practical nurse. Adrienne Matthews has three daughters of her own and cares for over 200 women as if they were her daughters in Halcyon Hall - Washington Adventist University’s women’s residence hall. She attends and occasionally teaches the Women in the Word Sabbath School class and is involved with our Women’s Ministry here at Sligo. Mother and daughter team, Lydee and Ora Battle, moved here recently from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Coming to Sligo is like coming home for them- as they are reunited with family members who are part of the fabric of our church family. Lydee loves to decorate, cook and spend time gardening. Ora is an eighth grader at Sligo Adventist School. She plays the flute in their band and sings in their choir. In her spare time, she likes to draw and write.
