Deacons and Deaconesses, rehearsal for Communion

will take place following the 11:15 a.m. service on November 24. Please meet by the platform at approximately 15 minutes following the close of the worship service.

Holy Communion will be celebrated on Sabbath,

December 1, in both the first and second services. This is a time of reflection on our relationship with our heavenly Father, as well as a time when we celebrate our freedom from sin, made possible by the sacrifice of our Lord.

Sligo Women’s Ministries Book Club will meet on Wednesday, December 12 at 7 p.m. in the Discipleship Room to discuss The Tiger’s Wife by Tea Obreht.

ANNOUNCEMENTS Sligo Church needs knitters and crocheters! As

part of the Raising the Roof initiative, Sligo’s knitters and crocheters are being challenged to produce hats, scarves and mittens for the homeless. More yarn is needed. Bring yarn or donation to the information desk in the Atrium.
