OSR LOAN It is with profound gratitude that we can now say that the Organ Sanctuary Renovation (OSR) Mortgage has been paid in full! There are so many that should be thanked, the many members who have been making regular monthly payments, those who made one-time payments, and those who challenged us to get this debt paid with large gifts and matching funds. In addition, there were significant bequests that were specified for OSR. The total cost for this project was $4,482,455. To pay for this, a significant amount was raised before the project began and then we borrowed $2,300,000 from the Columbia Union Revolving Fund with a monthly payment of $16,500, beginning in June 2005 for 20 years. Because of the generosity of our members, we have been able to pay this off in 7.5 years and we are now able to focus more fully on the ministries of the church and on new initiatives. It is surely appropriate to say, “Praise God from whom all blessings flow!” Wishing Well: Nov. 24 YTD
