Welcome to Sligo. Welcome to Sligo today. Have you ever wondered what determines the value of an object? I ask this April 1, Saturday because sometimes the value that has been assessed to a Young Adults GLOW, Memorial Chapel, 9:30 a.m. particular item just doesn’t seem to make good sense. For instance, just recently, I heard a news story about the star April 2, Sunday quarterback for the Super Bowl Champions New England 55+ Brunch & Potluck, Fellowship Hall A, 10:00 a.m. Patriots, Tom Brady, who had his jersey stolen following their win at the 51st Super Bowl. Upon receiving an anonymous tip, the jersey was located April 3, Monday somewhere in Mexico. Authorities believed that the stolen jersey had an Regeneration Ministries, Office Conference Room, 7:30 p.m. estimated value of $500,000. Seriously? I guess the old adage is true, “One man’s “trash” is really another man’s treasure.” Having studied business while April 5, Wednesday in college, I learned that one of the main factors that significantly impacts the value of an item or a service is called, supply and demand. If there is more Prayer Gathering, Sanctuary, 7:00 p.m. demand for a product than what the supplier can meet, then that adds more (or by phone: 949.229.4400 Pin:4997774#, 7:35 p.m.) value to that particular item. But what factors does God use in determining the Sanctuary Choir Rehearsal, Choir Room, 8:00 p.m. value of something? Is it the concept of supply and demand, or is it something a lot more complicated than that? April 6, Thursday - Charles A. Tapp
Exercise Class, Office Chapel, 6:30 p.m.

This addition included included the Kitchen, Atrium, Youth Room, Choir Room, Primary Room, Fellowship Rooms and Junior Rooms.

“The Lord is disappointed when His people place a low estimate upon themselves. He desires His chosen heritage to value themselves according to the price He has placed upon them. God wanted them, else He would not have sent His Son on such an expensive errand to redeem them.” - Desire of Ages, p. 668
