Sligo Church Needs Receptionists: Wishing to be more involved with your church and have the opportunity to meet new people? Be part of a dynamic office family - consider serving as a receptionist on a voluntary basis each Friday (8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) at the Sligo Church office. If interested, please contact Kathleen Driscoll at 301.270.6777, ext. 239 or kdriscoll@ sligochurch.org Thank you Sligo for showing your support at the February AIM Action with close to 40 attendees! That night, our Sligo pastors stood in unity with community Christian ministers, Rabbis, and Muslim ministers against discrimination. What a blessing! Stay tuned as we kick off Sligo’s Listening Campaign. Claire Hosten and family are thankful and deeply appreciative to the pastors and staff at Sligo Church for their support during the recent passing of Carmen Lynch. Special thanks also to Sabbath School officers, Deacons, Deaconesses and the many Sligo members who expressed condolences and exhibited in many ways the essence of Christian fellowship. The Sligo music ministry is inviting all men with a passion for singing and a heart for worship to take part in our new Men’s Chorale. A welcome meeting will be held after 2nd service in the Choir Room on Sabbath, February 25. For more information, contact our Choral Conductor, Paul Byssainthe, Jr. at 301.270.6777, ext. 124 or <pbyssainthe@sligochurch.org>
