Welcome to Sligo today. This has been an exciting week with the sound of children singing praises, July 21, Monday repeating “Jesus Loves Me” and just having fun. It Regeneration Ministries, Office Conf. Room, 7:00 p.m. has been our Vacation Bible School (VBS) week! Over Finance Committee Mtg., Senior Pastor’s Office, 7:00 p.m. 180 children attended, supported by 70 volunteers, despite severe thunderstorm warnings all week. I love July 22, Tuesday observing the little children as they interact with one another and see Prayer Gathering, Sanctuary, 7:00 p.m. the look on their faces when they discover new information. This week Or by phone: 949.229.4400 Pin:4997774#, 7:35 p.m. the children had an opportunity to understand that they are loved by Jesus, even if they feel alone, are different, don’t understand, do July 23, Wednesday wrong things or feel afraid. I understand even more fully after this Sanctuary Choir Rehearsal, Choir Room, 7:30 p.m. week why Jesus said that we have to be like little children in order to enter into the Kingdom of heaven. Children are so trusting and are July 26, Sabbath willing to be led by the hand anywhere. They are also humble, willing Joy Fuller Memorial Service, Sanctuary, 4:00 p.m. to love unconditionally and forgive freely. I invite you to celebrate with our children on this special VBS Sabbath. - Pr. Gerry Lopez
