welcome
Welcome to Sligo today. One of the most comforting and encouraging messages of the gospel is that of salvation by grace through faith alone. Simply put, our March 12, Saturday salvation is not the result of any meritorious work on our part, but is solely the result of God’s precious gift Young Adults GLOW, Memorial Chapel, 9:30 a.m. of grace through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. I say Children’s Choir Rehearsal, Choir Room, 1:30 p.m. that this is both comforting as well as encouraging Homeless Ministry, Discipleship Room, 2:00 p.m. because if it were based on our works, our ability to always do what’s right in the sight of God, we would be lost for sure. But as comforting March 13, Sunday as this doctrine may be, many of us who now rejoice in this truth fail Knitting/Crocheting, Discipleship Room, 11:00 a.m. to realize that being “saved by grace” means we must be willing to also “live by grace.” The mere fact that we are recipients of God’s Sligo Music Club Concert, Atrium, 4:00 p.m. marvelous grace now obligates us to pay this grace forward into the lives of others. Today as we celebrate the Lord’s Supper, we are March 14, Monday presented with a powerful reminder that we are in fact saved by His Regeneration Ministries, Office Conference Room, 7:30 p.m. marvelous grace, which if you think about it, should compel each of us to live a life as graciously as the grace we have received. March 16, Wednesday - Charles A. Tapp Prayer Gathering, Sanctuary, 7:00 p.m. (or by phone: 949.229.4400 Pin:4997774#, 7:35 p.m.) Sligo Adult Choir Rehearsal, Choir Room, 8:00 p.m. Summary of our Beliefs

sabbath devotional
“It is grace at the beginning, and grace at the end. So that when you and I come to lie upon our death beds, the one thing that should comfort and help and strengthen us there is the thing that helped us in the beginning. Not what we have been, not what we have done, but the Grace of God in Jesus Christ our Lord.” - D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones
