welcome

Welcome to Sligo today. As you have heard by now, I love to spend time gardening. Or as I like to put it, playing in the dirt, because this is where I feel closest to God. But in all the years that I have spent gardening there is one thing I have yet to figure out and that is where do all the weeds come from? Have you ever thought about this? May 7, Sunday I know I have, and it is still a mystery to me. Regardless of the time 55+ Club Brunch/Potluck, Fellowship Hall A, 10:00 a.m. that I spend preparing the soil, selecting just the right plants and then ACSGW Hope Benefit Concert, Northwood HS, 5:00 p.m. painstakingly watering them on a regular basis, I consistently have weeds popping up out of nowhere. In all my years of gardening, I have May 8, Monday never planted a weed in my entire life. But nonetheless, there are times when the weeds are just as abundant as the flowers. Now there Regeneration Ministries, Office Conference Room, 7:30 p.m. was a time I would just pull them out by hand, but this approach has proven to be detrimental because there are some weeds that because May 10, Wednesday they closely resemble a flower have caused me to mistakenly uproot Prayer Gathering, Sanctuary, 7:00 p.m. flowers in an attempt to rid my garden of the weeds.
