OUR LIFE TOGETHER

Raising Hope Walkathon: Please come out and support our community while enjoying a fun and productive walk (or run) through Sligo Creek Park! The walkathon will be held on Sunday, October 12 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. We will begin and end at Washington Adventist University Commons
(7600 Flower Avenue, Takoma Park, MD). Volunteers will be on hand passing out water bottles and helping with street crossings. The cost is $10 per participant for the 5K walk and $15 per participant for the 10K, which will go towards funding for Adventist Community Services of Greater Washington (ACSGW) programs to help low-income individuals in the community. OCTOBER 25: The first Conference-wide HOPE FOR TODAY seminar will be held at Sligo Church, 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. We will share the Sligo Church experience and hear how other churches are sharing their faith. All are welcome to learn new strategies for small group and friendship evangelism. Learn practical ways to share your faith and hope with friends and neighbors. Presenters include Pastors Casillas, Tapp, McFarlane, Munoz, Cousins, Daniel, and Esposito.
