Welcome to Sligo today. At this time each year, our church pauses to celebrate one of our largest and most transformational ministries, Sligo Adventist School. October 22, Saturday There is probably no other ministry that the Seventh-day Young Adults GLOW, Memorial Chapel, 9:30 a.m. Adventist Church has that is as far reaching than our educational system. From our elementary schools to October 24, Monday our universities, this ministry of Adventist Christian education which Regeneration Ministries, Office Conference Room, 7:30 p.m. combines the disciplines of faith and learning, is without a doubt the bedrock of who we are as a denomination. Today we are pleased to October 26, Wednesday welcome one who has benefitted from the ministry of Sligo Adventist Prayer Gathering, Sanctuary, 7:00 p.m. School, Pastor Kyle Dever. Pastor Dever not only graduated from Sligo, (or by phone: 949.229.4400 Pin:4997774#, 7:35 p.m.) but he grew up right here at Sligo Church. His time spent working in the area of youth ministries during his academy years played a large October 27, Thursday part not only in his maturation as a youth, but also in his call to the Exercise Class, Office Chapel, 6:30 p.m. gospel ministry. In many ways you can say that he is a product of Adventist Christian education and also a “Son of Sligo.” Please pray that God will use Pastor Dever as an instrument of His love and grace as he speaks to us today. - Charles A. Tapp
