ANTHROPOMETRICS PART 1 INTERACTIVE STRUCTURAL REPRESENTATION

Topic: Vasthu Purusha and related space planning

Duration: 26th April to 05th May 2022

• This is a group project of 9 members. The scope of this project is to understand the arrangement of Spaces in a particular space according to the Vasthu system, which is solely about the science of light, ventilation & circulation according to the Sun’s path in various times of the day.

• The Vasthu system according to the Vasthu Purusha model was drawn on a mat of 10 boxboards, with descriptive panels surrounding its center.

• A sample of a Kitchen according to Vasthu principles was prepared by timber rods, covered with white satin clothes. It consists of a facing door and a window illustration circulation & ventilation according to Vasthu principles.
