Install Adobe Acrobat
High resolution PDFs are ideal for printing on-site at your community offices. Before printing you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC or an equivalent PDF-viewing software* installed on your computer. If already installed, proceed to the PDF download instructions. Acrobat Reader DC is a free product offered by Adobe for viewing and printing PDF documents. To install, use the link below to go to the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC download page, select your operating system and language preference, and click Install Now. Follow the prompts to complete the download and installation process. Once installed, proceed to the instructions for downloading the high resolution PDF you ordered from the Brand Works website.

*The printing instructions detailed in this guide are for use with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. If using another software to print your PDF, printing the PDF at 96% of its original size will achieve the same effect.
Bleeds & Crop Marks The high resolution PDFs that you receive will contain bleeds and crop marks. Bleeds are extra image added to every side of a flyer that are intended to be trimmed off after the flyer is printed. The crop marks denote where the piece is to be cut to achieve the flyer’s final size. This process provides edge-to-edge ink coverage and creates the impression of the image on the flyer “bleeding” off of the edges. If printing on a paper size larger than 8.5” x 11” isn’t an option for your printer, or you don’t intend to cut the printed flyers down to size to remove the bleed and crop marks after printing, it is recommended that you print the flyer according to the following steps.

Crop You may wish to have a digital copy of your PDF that also doesn’t have bleeds or crop marks on it. There are many third-party tools that can accomplish this. PDF Resizer is a free, online resource that can be used to crop PDFs.
