5 WAYS TO REDUCE
APPEARANCE OF PSORIASIS
1. Take daily baths with lukewarm water and mild soaps that have added oils and fats.
2. Use moisturizer right after you bathe and several times a day if your skin needs it. If the lotion is not enough, use oils, which have more of a staying power than lotions and prevent water from evaporating from your skin.
3. Expose your skin to a small amount of sunlight to improve lesions.
4. Avoid your own personal psoriasis triggers that may affect it and make it worse. Some common triggers are stress, smoking, injuries to your skin, infections and too much sun exposure.
5. Avoid drinking alcohol, since it could affect any psoriasis medicine you may be taking and cause it to not work efficiently.
