Caredinamodest neighborhood,Abasadventure startedwithhumblebeginnings.Hisfather,Mr.Ramones
Ramon,ahardworkingfarmer andhismother,Mrs.Jailyn Ramon,acommittedBarangay HealthWorker(BHW),instilled himthevaluesofdiligenceand perseverance.Butitwasinhis timeasastudentinNISwhere hisleadershipsparktrulyignited.Asaconsistentpresidentof aclassfromelementarytoseniorhighschool,Abahonedhis communicativeskillsand learnedtheartofpersuasion.

Toplantthis,youneedonlyitsfruitthathasasprout.Youcan plantitanywherebecausecoconutsarenotassensitiveasother crops.Formaintenance,youonlyhavetocleanitssurroundingsand putsomefertilizersifyoulike.

Morethan50%ofresidentsinBarangayNomohrelytheirdaily incomefrombananafarming.Itisoneofthemostcommonand easiestcropstoplant.Itcangrowanywherewithanykindofweather.HereinNomoh,mostfarmerschoosetoplantthreekindsofBanananamely:“Stanfilko”whichisgoodforexportation,“Tondan”and “Lakatan”.
Toplantbanana,youneedtohaveacleanandafertileland. Every15days,youneedtocleanitssurroundungsandeliminateunwantedplantsthatgrowbesideitsstem.Perseveranceandhard workarethekeyinordertomaintainitsproductivegrowth.Ittakes sixmonthstobearitsfirstbatchoffruits.
Toharvestabananaiseasy,youneedtocutdownitsbody (stem)inordertogetitsfruit,thencuteachbunchonebyoneand sellthemtothebuyerswithpricerangesfrom12-15pesosperkilo.
