TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

We conduct needs-blind admissions to admit students based on their ability to succeed rather than their economic circumstances.

SLUH utilizes the FACTS Tuition Management System which you can access at admissions.sluh.org. Besides income (both taxable and non-taxable), we take into account assets, expenses, liabilities and the number of children attending Catholic schools (K-12). We encourage families to bring any special circumstances to our attention, recognizing that each case is unique. 2021-22 Tuition: $18,700 Actual cost to educate: $20,709

MERIT SCHOLARS PROGRAM

SLUH offers a Merit Scholars Program that deepens our commitment to financial accessibility and intellectual excellence. This program provides both academic merit recognition and partial tuition, annual-renewable awards based on scores achieved on our mandatory Scholastic High School Placement test for all freshman applicants.

Fr. Gerald “Gerry” Sheahan, SJ Scholars are designated based on

their mandatory Scholastic High School Placement Test (HSPT) scores. Applicants who score in the top 5% qualify for the following scholarships: • $5,000 award for a score of 99 percentile in Total Basic Skills • $4,500 award for a score of 98 percentile in Total Basic Skills • $4,000 award for a score of 97 percentile in Total Basic Skills • $3,500 award for a score of 96 percentile in Total Basic Skills • $3,000 award for a score of 95 percentile in Total Basic Skills

Fr. Claude Heithaus, SJ Scholars represent top Scholastic High School Placement Test scoring black and minority applicants not named Fr. Sheahan Scholars. The scholarship awards range from $3,000 to $5,000 depending on the HSPT score.
