Please stop by the Welcome Center, located in the Parlor, after the service so that we can meet you in person and answer any questions that you may have. We also invite you to fill out a communication card, located in the pew back, and tell us a little about yourself. Saint Michael is a wonderful community and we would love for you to be a part of it. TODAY: Kate Bowler’s Everthing Happens for a Reason, with Greg Pickens

Frank and funny, dark and wise, Kate Bowler pulls the reader deeply into her life in an account she populates affectionately with a colorful, often hilarious retinue of friends, mega-church preachers, relatives, and doctors. Everything Happens for a Reason tells her story, offering up her irreverent, hard-won observations on dying and the ways it has taught her to live. OFF JUNE 24: Pie for 4th of July Celebration!

JULY 1: Patrick Rothfuss’ The Name of the Wind, with Eric Liles

So begins a tale unequaled in fantasy literature— the story of a hero told in his own voice. It is a tale of sorrow, a tale of survival, a tale of one man’s search for meaning in his universe, and how that search, and the indomitable will that drove it, gave birth to a legend. Over 1 million copies sold!
