Saint Michael is a community of believers pursuing Christ and caring one for another. As such, please let us know if you are visiting, or in need of prayer support, by filling out a communication/prayer request card located in the backs of the pews. We hope that your time among us will be filled with a sense of connection, and we hope to see you again soon!

LENTEN RETREAT Led by Brother James Koester & Brother Jim Woodrum, SSJE

March 30 | 9 a.m. - Noon | Coke Room This day will have ample times of silence to allow us to come away, and rest awhile. Interspersed throughout our time together, will be a series of addresses focused on some of the characters in the Gospel of John and how they invite us to reflect on what Prologue might mean where it says to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God, who were born, not of blood or of the will of the flesh or of the will of man, but of God.

$10 Admission Register at saintmichael.org/lentenretreat by March 29. Questions? hfisher@saintmichael.org

LENTEN EVENSONG GUEST PREACHER We welcome Rev. Dr. Samira Izadi Page, Founder and Executive Director of Gateway of Grace, as our special guest preacher for our Lenten Choral Evensong next Sunday, March 31 at 5:30 p.m. in the church. Samira spoke this past September at a Women of Saint Michael luncheon, and returns now to preach. Gateway of Grace is an outreach ministry working with refugees and the offering will benefit this ministry. The Saint Michael Choir will sing the stirring, dramatic St. Paul Service by Howells, recently composed Preces and Responses by Jamie Hitel, and the anthem Lord, let me know mine end by Maurice Greene. The 5:30 Chapel service will take place as usual.

Check out the store for some great Lenten and Easter gifts. We have Lenten devotional books, Lenten prayer cubes and some pretty handmade papier mache bunny boxes from India. The handmade eggs from Germany and Austria are still in stock, so come by and get yours before they sell out.
