BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS October 6 | 4 p.m. West Parking Lot From kittens to chickens, guppies to puppies, our clergy will be BLESSING all pets great and small. This free event celebrating the Feast of St. Francis is open to the entire community, so come and enjoy this wonderful annual Saint Michael and All Angels tradition. A short liturgy will be led by the clergy followed by individual pet blessings. We are thrilled to be joined this year, for the first time, by our Saint Michael Choristers and staff singers who will provide glorious music throughout the service. Each pet will receive a lovely St. Francis medallion for his or her pet collar. FREE Kona Ice thanks to Saint Michael Stewardship.

CAMINO DE SANTIAGO PILGRIMS EPISCOPAL CHRISTIANS Our Camino Pilgrims will be hiking the last 110km of Sundays, Oct.culminating 13 - Nov. 3 |Cathedral 12:15of-Santiago 1:30 p.m. the Camino at the de Compostela in northwestern Spain this week. This class is for those new to Christianity, new to Saint Michael and All Angels, or members who want to revisit the core features of our belief and practice. This offering will provide an overview of our faith and explore what it means to walk as a Christian in the Episcopal tradition. This class also serves as Confirmation Preparation for those wanting to go through the Confirmation process. Lunch is available for purchase with registration and pre-order at $10 per person per week. Childcare is available with pre-registration.

Nativity Pageant Tryouts October 13 & 20 | 12:30 - 2 p.m. in the Theater We invite all ages 3rd- 8th grade to audition for principle cast roles in this year’s Nativity Pageant. From big roles to small roles, singing to non-singing, there is a place for all children and youth in this year’s Nativity Pageant! All who tryout will receive a part. Sign up can be found at saintmichael. org/nativity. Children ages 3 -2nd grade are encouraged to participate as stars, animals, shepherds, and angels. Sign-ups for these children will be available beginning November 3. Roles will be assigned based on age or grade.

TELA HONDURAS INFO SUPPER | SEPT. 29 Sunday, September 29 | 6:30 p.m. | Schupp Home For 14 years, every February, a group of Saint Michael missionaries returns to Tela, Honduras, for a week to work and worship in partnership with Espiritu Santo, an Episcopal Church and day school. In the local barrios as well as at church, we work with parishioners and senior class members to provide 350+ children with fluoride treatments along with toothbrushes and toothpaste, fit 200+ adults with reading glasses and sunglasses, and engage 450+ students in Christian Education which includes story telling, singing, and crafts. This year our trip is scheduled for February 8-15. Returning missionaries will host a potluck supper at Chris and Sally Schupp’s home, 4349 Shenandoah next Sunday at 6:30 p.m. For anyone interested in more information, please reply to salpal322@aol.com.
