Stewardship 2020

Formation’s Future One of the great joys in working with our Formation staff these past few years is to see how much growth has happened. Growth in the number of children, youth, and adult participation; growth in spiritual depth; and growth within our staff department. In 2019 we have added two new full-time staff members to the Formation team, and in 2020 we hope to continue that trend. Our programs continue to grow and need additional support in personnel, volunteers, and programmatic resources. In 2020, we need to add more Atriums as the level 1 Catechesis rooms were both over-subscribed at twenty children each at the start of the 2019-2020 program year. We currently have four Atrium rooms and could use seven. Each additional Atrium will cost approximately $20,000 to build, stock and supply with the needed programmatic materials. More volunteers and training will be needed to continue to grow. As we look forward to our new format for 8th grade Confirmation and the restructure of Sunday Youth programs, we need additional Youth staff and volunteers to help coordinate our growing offerings. More precisely, we need an increased focus on different student populations. In Adult Formation, we are actively looking for a Staff Coordinator to help plan and facilitate our current offerings as well as robust small group offerings. Prayerfully consider the impact you can make through the generosity of your time, talent and treasure. God’s Blessings,

The Rev. Dr. Eric J. Liles, Associate for Formation
