NEW YORK EVENSONG The Saint Michael Choir will sing music from their upcoming tour in June to New York City on Sunday, February 9 in Choral Evensong at 5:30 p.m. in the Church. This is the only opportunity to hear what they will sing at Manhattan’s famous Cathedral of St. John the Divine and St. Thomas Church! The offering will benefit their trip. Come and support our Choir!

CHORISTER AUDITIONS Do you know a child in grades 3-8 who loves to sing? Saint Michael Choristers is a fun, highcaliber music program that offers a community for our church’s young singers. Choristers sing weekly for our services, tour nationally (next year to Washington, D.C.) and internationally, and make lifelong friendships. If your child loves to sing, set up an audition meeting by emailing Julia Dietz Beckel at jbeckel@saintmichael.org. No prior experience or training is required - we just want to get to know you and see if Choristers is the right fit for you! Auditions will be held February 4 & 5 in the afternoon and evening.

MARY’S GUILD The greet-and-eat “happenin’ place” between services on Sunday mornings is the South Entrance, where St. Mary’s Guild members set up their weekly “Feed Your Soul” bake sale table. Parishioners can enjoy coffee and a quick bite or buy baked goods to take home. Ask about the $15 loyalty card, a punch card that makes 75-cent purchases easy.

The weekly bake sale provides a great opportunity to visit old friends and welcome newcomers in the heart of our church fellowship space. St. Mary’s Guild dates back to

the 1950s at St. Michael. You can keep the tradition alive by visiting the bake sale table between 8:30 and 11 a.m. on Sundays.

WRITING WORKSHOP | FEB. 15 Third Saturday | 10 a.m. - Noon | Parlor Led by Cynthia Sample and Carol Roehrig Join with other writers of all types to give yourself this writing workshop, a two-hour empty space for exploring, plowing through, or opening yourself up.

Writers will initially be offered a simple prompt to get the juices flowing should that need be present. One and a half hours of (caffeinated) silence will ensue for writers to pursue their own projects or try something new. The last half hour will offer a space for sharing (or not) our sentences with others. Please note that no prior or professional training is necessary to participate.
