Fullness in the Fast “Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness.” We will explore God’s double-call for us of struggle and comfort, temptation and trust, challenge and rest. Come pray your experience of the Lenten desert.

Led by SSJE Brothers Luke Ditewig and Lucas Hall with Refreshments will be available in the Drake Room before and during the retreat.

Join us for a weekend in the great outdoors at Broken Bow Lake! The youth will be heading up to Oklahoma for an amazing weekend of nature, activities, and so much more. The cost for this weekend includes transportation, lodging, food, and all lake activities.

Celebrate Women’s History Month by celebrating the women and girls of Jubilee Park and Community Center at our annual Mother-Daughter Tea. The event’s activities will include lunch, an inspirational speaker, arts and crafts, and more. Volunteers are needed to help with food donations, set up, luncheon service, and clean up. This is a wonderful occasion to bring your mom, daughter, or any special woman in your life and volunteer together. Volunteer signup is live at

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY | MAR. 3 & 17 1st & 3rd Tuesdays | 1 - 3 p.m. | Drake Room On most Sundays, as communicants approach the altar, they stop to place a hand on a knitted or crocheted prayer shawl, joining with clergy to bless the handmade shawls to be distributed to the ill, the confined, or those hurting. The Prayer Shawl Ministry, at work for the last 14 years, reached an amazing milestone at the end of January – having knitted or crocheted an astounding 2,500 shawls. Join us in our ministry! Current members will teach beginning knitting and provide printed instructions on more complicated patterns. They’ll even provide the yarn and needles to get you started! STEPHEN MINISTRY: THE 6 STAGES OF CAREGIVING Monday, March 9 | 6:30 p.m. | Coke Activities Room Family caregivers are amazing people. They offer to help a loved one, often without realizing how their role and relationship with a family member may change as caregiving progresses through several stages. Our speaker, Dannelle LeBlanc is a Certified Senior Advisor/ Caregiving Consultant at CareGiver Transitions LLC. In her important talk, she will lead us through the stages, offer resources, and provide practical and hopeful tips.

WRITING WORKSHOP | MAR. 21 Third Saturday of the month | 10 a.m. - Noon | Parlor Join with other writers of all types to give yourself the gift of Writing Retreat, a two hour empty space for exploring, plowing through or opening yourself up.

Writers will initially be offered a simple prompt to get the juices flowing should that need be present. One and a half hours of (caffeinated) silence will ensue for writers to pursue their own projects or try something new.

The last half hour will offer a space for sharing (or not) our sentences with others. Please note that no prior or professional training is necessary to participate.
