Followers of Christ, Spreading God’s Love
Welcome to Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church on this momentous Sunday in the life of our church. Today, we worship for the first time with our new Rector, The Rev. Christopher Girata, and say thank you to The Very Rev. Doug Travis, who served as our Interim Rector for nearly a year. We are getting ready for the new school year with the Blessing-of-the-Backpacks at all of our worship services, and will gather in the Garden Cloister to celebrate our many blessings. Saint Michael Supports Louisiana Flood Relief Efforts. Saint Michael and All Angels has contributed $2,000 to the flood relief efforts through the Diocese of Louisiana. The flooding has claimed several lives and has left thousands homeless. Parishioners may contribute to the relief effort online at www.saintmichael.org or by making a contribution to Saint Michael and All Angels’ Good Samaritan Fund earmarked for 2016 Louisiana Flood Relief. Cash and check donations can be delivered or mailed to the church. Saint Michael 101 – Learn About Saint Michael Membership. Are you new to Saint Michael and thinking about joining?
