Followers of Christ, Spreading God’s Love
Welcome to Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church. Today is Stewardship Celebration Sunday! Join us as we celebrate the gifts we give to the church knowing that they will build our community and strengthen our mission to spread God’s love. Thank you for supporting Saint Michael and for worshiping with us today. Young Adults Meeting at TNT Today for Dynamite Afternoon. Saint Michael’s young adults and our Rector, Chris Girata, are meeting today at TNT in the Quadrangle for a Funday afternoon beginning at 3:30. The nibbles are provided with a cash bar for happy hour drinks. TNT is located at 2800 Routh, just off Cedar Springs. Get your young adults friends to come, too. Saint Michael Music Director Performs at the Meyerson. James Diaz, director of music, will perform at the Meyerson Symphony Center this afternoon at 2:30. His concert is part of the Pipedreams Live concert. Join in Our Veterans Day Celebration November 13. On Sunday evening, November 13 Saint Michael will honor all veterans and active military at the Annual Veterans Day service and reception. It is a time to show gratitude to the men and women who have given of themselves to protect our nation’s freedoms. The celebration starts with worship in the church at 5:30 followed by a “Thank You” reception featuring the Heritage Brass Band. We Want Your Military Picture. Are you a veteran, or is a member of your family in active military service? Send us a picture in uniform for display on our Wall of Honor. Include name, rank, and branch of service. Send your pictures to Tish Visinsky at tvsinsky@saintmichael.org or bring them to the South Lanai reception desk. J.C. Snead Elected to Diocesan Leadership. Vestry member J.C. Snead has been elected to the Executive Council of the Diocese of Dallas. He joins parishioners Jim Riggert, whose term expires this year, and Bill McGannon, whose term runs through 2018, and Richard D’Antoni who serves as Secretary of the Diocesan Convention. As a family with young children, Saint Michael’s classes and programs are very meaningful. From marriage class, to SPARK, to Childcare and the Preschool...there is a program for every family member. Our children are 3rd generation parishioners and it's very important our church continues to enrich their spiritual development. Having a vibrant new rector and opportunities for growth creates an exciting time for our parish. Now is the time to strengthen young family involvement. Please join us in making a pledge this year! — Ali, Justin, Parker (5) and Maisy (1) Treaster
