I remember the day we came up with the idea of mango productions. I was fifteen back then, oily and skinny, whimsical and precocious, young and free. Back then I was old enough to babysit my little cousins, so I had no choice but to stay home all the evenings my aunts would drop off their kids at my house: probono. Under my wing, we had a lot of fun growing up. We loved baking Oreo-filled chocolate-chip cookies. We loved making forts using the clothes liner to distribute top secret messages from one end of the backyard to the other. We loved getting into trouble, and especially getting it all on film. Looking back at all that we have filmed and edited over the years, the one coherent
ingredient slipped into every idea on film was love. They’re so much joy observing children and the way they grab life by the neck. They love adventures. They love ice cream. They love to fight. And they love to make up. Plain and simple, children are not afraid to let go and discover life’s mysteries,wouldn’t you agree? In my personal opinion, I like to think the lovable and goofy little kid is still inside of us. It’s in each and every one of us when we do what we love. Love is everywhere to be found, especially inside of you. With a little bit of noggin, a few extra helping hands, and a whole lotta’ lovin’, you can to turn your little dreams into a big reality, and that’s super sexy. Its an incredible paradigm shift.
Everyday we experience new things. Life is just as exciting in our youth as is the sunset days of our lives. Sometimes when you have a quiet moment to yourself, you wonder what’s going to happen at the end of my life? You have to be honest with yourself and ask, how do I want to be remembered? Those are some of the most memorable moments in your life and not always available to witness on film. For everything else, there’s Mango Productions. We took the most fun and blessed part of our youth, and eight-years later decided to share our love and passion for capturing film and creating moments with the world.
