Gom was just about to reach the top of the track when Mog pulled him back. “Look right there, a tail,” said Mog. “A few more steps and you may have bumped into the dragon.” 2

Gom peered around the corner. “It’s the dragon all right. I think she is chewing on an elephant!” said Gom. “The egg is just around the corner. I will grab it.” 3

Gom snuck up to the egg and picked it up. But just as he did, the remarkable rock powder started to wear off. “Do not steal my egg,” said the dragon. “Mr Frown will turn it into dragon egg stew.” 4

“Oh!” screamed Gom and dropped the egg. Mog grabbed it just as it was about to hit the rocks.

5

“You do not need my egg,” said the dragon. “You do not need Mr Frown’s help. If you go down that track, it will lead you to the underground river you seek. A boat will be waiting for you there.” “When you get to Queen Joan’s rock pit, stick this screw in the lock,” said the dragon. “Here is the red rock. I have been keeping it for you.” 6

7

“Good luck, and may I say that this is not an elephant, this is just a tree that grew in my nest.” “Thank you so much,” said Gom and hugged the dragon’s neck. 8

2 Players. You will need: 6 counters per player & 1 Die. The first player rolls the die and reads the word on the matching space. If they are correct, they place a counter over that space. The second player then takes their turn. The first player to cover all their spaces wins.
