The Kodak EasyShare C182 The Kodak EasyShare C182 is based around a twelve megapixel 1/2.3” CCD imager coupled to a Kodak-branded 3x zoom lens with a 32 - 96mm equivalent focal range - a moderate wide angle to a moderate telephoto. The Kodak C182 has a 3.0-inch LCD display with 230,000 dot resolution, and there’s no optical viewfinder. They’re an increasingly rare option these days, but cameras with optical viewfinders add a good degree of versatility, letting you get the shot when you can’t make out the LCD in bright sunlight, or save battery life by disabling the LCD when accurate framing isn’t vital. It’s a shame that the C182 lacks the option, but certainly understandable given the pricepoint. Images are stored on Secure Digital cards including the highercapacity SDHC types, or in 16MB of internal memory.

Ngong road a serious business hub
he night air presses hot and thick outside the windows. The ancient bus groans and heaves itself another mile along the road as it heads to the city centre. It’s six a.m along Ngong road in the outskirts of the city. The road carries a heavy load of traffic every minute as people rush to the city centre. Ngong Road stretches from the Kenya national library headquarters upwards to terminate at Ngong Town in kajiando. As people drive on to town, businesses along the key Kenyan road open doors for the days business. In this Nairobi’s Medium areas of Kilimani/Hurlingham/Ngong Road Ngong road business circuit neighbours areas bounded by Dennis Pritt Road to the north and Ngong Road to the south and hosts many of Nairobi’s new-build apartment blocks. These were largely constructed in the property boom of the 1990s, replacing the 1950s and 1960s bungalows that once sat back from the wide streets. Most of the new blocks are taller than five storeys and have balconies, communal swimming pools and 24-hour security staff. The more expensive

They tend to be popular with both expatriates and Kenyans, mainly single professionals, young families with few children or aid workers regularly sent into the field for months at a time. For entertainment there are at least two cinemas and a casino in Hurlingham, while the Nairobi Jockey Club on Ngong Road has a public ninehole golf course. International schools in the area include Cavina and the French, Dutch, Swedish and Italian schools. Some of the city’s main state and private hospitals including The Nairobi Hospital (private), The Nairobi Women’s Hospital (private) and Kenyatta National Hospital (state) are located just to the east of these areas, along the city centre end of Ngong Road. Buses run along the main roads directly into the city centre (2-5 km), while a taxi to town will cost KSh600. Ngong road house all types of businesses starting from restaurants to money exchange, children clothing and beauty.
