Shadow boxes are big at The Framer’s Vise and after the Ravens’ big Super Bowl win, lucky fans who had been to the game streamed in bearing souvenirs galore. Tickets, mardi gras beads, commemorative programs, ticket stubs, drinking cups, pins, jerseys and streamers fallen on the field at the end were all incorporated into the myriad Super Bowl shadow boxes designed by Amy Schuele and her staff. “We usually make them in black, sometimes accented with purple,” she says. “They’re basic because there’s so much color going on inside.” Because these objects are so precious to their owners, they are sealed in museum-quality UV protective glass.
