This not a large expo as it is designed for information rather than profit.

Our exhibitors have been hand picked to offer a unique opportunity to speak to them on a one to one basis throughout the day to learn more about what they do and how they help people, you can enjoy a combination of talks, workshops, and stands offering advice and information that could be lifechanging for you!

Your Speakers Julie Hawkins – Founder, SMBN – Main Stage Speaker and Host – 10am Jules is the Director of KIH Products and Founder of the Single Mums Business Network. Multi-Award-Winning Business Woman and Visionary. Also co-organiser of Find Your Power Event 2021 and Author of Finding Happiness and Freeing Your Spirit. A decade ago she was depressed following miscarriage, divorce, house repossession and could be found most evenings in a bar. She changed her life, and wants to help you change yours, or help those you love.

Marie Hall – Founder, Empowerment House – Main Stage Speaker – 1pm By the time Marie was 20, she had endured 4 years of abuse, was hating life as a dancer and knew that she needed out of her home because she couldn’t take any more of what was going on with her parents. Within a few weeks she left her partner, left home and left dance. No explanations, no reasons for anybody I just did it because at this point my life depended on it. From then on she started her journey to the woman that she is today.

Bridget Daley – Founder, Parents in Biz – Main Stage Speaker – 11am Bridget started her first business over ten years ago, and understands, first hand, the pains that we, as parents, go through, from starting up a business to scaling a business. There weren’t many parentpreneurs in Bridget’s social circle back when she started, and her ambition often seemed like a pipe dream.

Your Speakers Paul Wakefield – Owner of Freedom Book Publishing and Founder of Freedom Lifestyle Academy – Guest Speaker, Main Stage – 2pm Paul has had an incredible journey from being rejected from work due to his entrepreneurial spirit and hitting rock bottom, to following his dreams and succeeding in creating financial freedom and true, deep happiness and gratitude, he wants nothing more than to share what he has learnt with you to help you do the same .

Susie Mackie – Photographer, author, founder of Women of Spirit – Guest Speaker, Main Stage – 3pm Susie’s path was a hard one, but she was lucky enough to have support from some amazing women who shared their experiences with her and made her feel less alone. Susie knows that sharing life experiences can empower others who are struggling with extraordinary personal challenges.

Our speakers have something in common; we have challenged and fought against the path laid out in front of us, we have exceeded expectations, and we are so happy that we genuinely want you all to be happy too, in every area of your life! because we know that we are all so much kinder to each other when we are happy! We believe in #sisterhood #womensupportingwomen and #mensmentalhealth – and we do not pretend, nor believe that happiness comes in six figures.

We will support you to identify and achieve your own goals and learn how to live without toxic.

Workshops Carnival Fitness with Nehaya – 10:35 Carnival fitness is an Afro-Caribbean Fitness Fusion, incorporating basic dance steps with body-weighted exercises. It is completely inclusive and open for all abilities, even if you’ve never exercised before! Come join the positive energy and burn calories whilst having fun!!

Holistic Fitness and Coaching with Lidia – 11:35 Lidia will be sharing her 5 R transformation process and she invites you to find the power to follow your own path of transformation. Lidia has also published an e-book on nutritional advice. She has incredible before and after shots

Yoga and Mindfulness with Rebecca – 1:35pm Rebecca is a Rapid Transformational Therapist Coach and she is passionate about Yoga after training as a Yoga Teacher RYT 200 Yoga Alliance.

She incorporates Yoga into her own daily wellbeing and she can show you how transformative this can be.

Workshops Introduction to Tantra – 2:35pm There are many misconceptions around Tantra, the most common being that it is all about sex. Although modern Tantra does explore sexuality, it is much more than that.

Find out the ways in which the practice unites sexuality and spirituality, and its transformative healing powers.

The mindful practice of Tantra can bring more intimacy and connection to ourselves, as well as the relationships we have with other people.

This introductory talk gives a glimpse into the world of Tantra, with suggested follow up resources at the end for those who want to delve deeper.

This talk will be delivered by Kendal and Tatiana of Freedombridge Tantra

Belly Dance Workshop – 3:35pm Come and enter the beautiful world of Bellydance to discover our inner exotic through a dance that deeply connects us, especially women.

We will learn beautiful arm patterns and stunning shimmies to expand your dance style and feel good together. Dancing is self care for your body and soul. We will get our coin belts on and vibrate with positive collective energy to feel joyful and alive.

This workshop will be delivered by Sarah of Sparkle Bellydance

Ticket Information We are initially releasing limited tickets to enable social distancing, we have also enabled a waiting list on Eventbrite for more tickets to be released when permitted.

HOWEVER, if you prefer, you CAN attend virtually!

Tickets to attend are £60, this includes speakers, refreshments, exhibitors, workshops (you must pre-book space for workshops) and parking.

But, if you would rather be at home and watch the speakers LIVE, you can book a £30 ticket and we’ll send you the zoom link just before the event.

This will also be recorded, so if you are busy on the day, you can watch the recording at your leisure!

If £60 entry tickets are out of your budget, you can pay weekly (10 x £6) by Direct Debit. A link is on the website to choose this option.

Why Find Your Power?

Initiated by Jules, founder of the SMBN. In 2016 I considered myself to be healed, I wrote a book called finding happiness and freeing your spirit, as a first step towards helping others. It has never been about profit, and this event is not about profit, it is about not wanting other to struggle a minute longer than they have to, and it is about encouraging us to reconnect as human beings and understand and embrace our collective power, instead of competing, driven by underlying fear.

I (Jules) am passionate in questioning why we still have trafficking, rape, abuse, poverty, racism and homophobia amongst other things, and I have no shame in doing my bit to hold those in positions of power accountable for not taking action, when they have the power to do so.

We all have the power to make change happen, but we must work together to do this.

I am very grateful to Bridget and Marie for helping me to organise and make this event happen, and to Susie and Paul for joining us on the main stage to bring you such a fantastic range of expertise. I am grateful to our workshop providers for giving their time to help you explore what could work for you and to our amazing exhibitors, who do not need to exhibit but have agreed to participate in the event to be on hand to talk to you throughout the day about their specialist services that have all been created to help you live a better life, whilst ensuring that nobody gets hurt in the process. The most important part of doing well, is lifting those around you instead of standing on them for your own gain.
